  1. If you went to Hallam station you might be better off, but then there is half the trains as you wont be able to catch Cranbourne trains
  2. Jealous...That looks like a lot of fun!!!
  3. Pakenham is the home of the F Truck afterall....
  4. Also, you could test them with a test light \ multimeter to see if power is coming in \ out of each wire \ circuit.
  5. Might be a silly question but have you spun the CAS by hand and checked that the plugs are firing? (IE seen the plug fire a spark?) Also can you hear the injectors ticking away (again spinning the CAS by hand.) If its been two years since running you may want to check that the fuel rail is not gummed up, can you smell fuel in the cylinders / coming out of the exhaust? That is where I always start with these sort of issues

    Kebabs

Not sure if its been mentioned but you cannot go past a Shawarma from Tiba's on Sydney Rd, Brunswick. Way better than any Kebab!!!!
  7. 2000rpm sounds like AFM related issues. Blue smoke means oil usually.
  8. I had a great day although rain for the first time I have driven a car in 7 months was a kick in the face! Had traction issues all day (excuses) so I ran gate pressure all day and was a fairy with the throttle (You think a Trust setup sounds good, it was nothing compared to when they are on full song!) as there was no point trying to put down all of my power. I will be back for a dry run and try to take off at least 10 seconds.

Rings might not necessarily be gone. If you have alot of positive pressure in the crank case etc you can blow out the dip stick. Where are the lines from the cam covers going? If they are very restricted or blocked off you will do what you have described. Also, are you using alot of oil? Check the PCV that is in the inlet manifold, there is a line from the engine cover to the inlet, the valve could be blocked, or someone even blocked off the factory pipe that goes from the turbo side engine cover to the turbo inlet. All else failing, take off the hoses from the engine covers and take it for a drive, if it still blows out the dipstick then you will want to do a compression test. If you are still unsure ask a mechanic for a Compression test and perhaps a 'Leak Down' test may give you more answers (Although its probably for more head gasket \ leaks into the compression chamber related issues). I would also recommend Status in Dandenong, but I am just Biased. Everyone on that list is a reputable shop also.
  11. Narre Warren, say no more Id be looking at neighbours if your in a court, perhaps a mate of a neighbour saw the car \ wheels and thought they would come back for the goods. Unfortunately there are more and more dodgy people around that area, it is unfortunate that he could not park it in a garrage. Id almost put money that they are now the front wheels of a commodore with stockies on the back, however there are alot of those in your area
  12. Century, Made in Austraila, and use new materials. They can take an absolute beating, and their warranty is great if you have any issues. NS40 style batteries are fine for a standard skyline. If you had a massive stereo then I would consider an oddysey or similar.
  13. Northern suburbs....say no more
  14. Could be CAS dead in the ass, coilpacks on these are dead also, and their wiring. I would try to find a CAS and a good set of coil packs and go from there. is it a NICS or ECCS (will say on the plenum)
  15. It will plug in fine, just needs pin swaps and the RB26 Air temp sensor wired in. Also if your going D-Jetro, the pressure sensors will need to be wired in also
  16. Surprised they didn't take the calipers / discs too. Or are they the same as a standard model?
  17. If your getting it fixed through insurance you may NOT have a choice who they use to fix the car. You can make a suggestion, however if your insurance company is "Affiliated" with certain shops they will try their hardest to push you towards those shops. Having said this, some insurers like Shannons will let you choose who does the work.
  18. Ancient tech document. I would ignore that.
  19. Mt Dandy is great for a drive. There are plenty of Bed & Breakfast's up there too!!! There are plenty more twisties up there becides mountain highway also
  20. http://www.statustuning.com/?section=gallery Check out my engine bay there. (Looked like shit back then ) The White R33 is set up the same. as my RB20.
  21. You missed the point more than Pearl Harbour did.
  22. Have you ever seen one of these in action? Great for bleeding the coolant system the rest of it's functionality does not bother me either way. Im thinking people are over the "My way or the highway attitude", there is more than one way to skin a cat, no pun intended Trent
  23. Cheap as chips for $2K. I have seen suppliers wanting close to $6K new!
  24. Fark, Haven't read this in ages I'm planning to give Status a call soon so I can get a re-tune some time next month I hope. Roy, do you think you will be ready by then? More than happy to run back to back on the same day to see if this plenum actually does anything
  25. Has anyone noticed any difference between a Resisted and NON-Resisted plug at this level of power?
