Hey all, I tried starting my RB20 the other night for the first time with the ultimate. It has a map loaded on it for 550cc injectors, z32 afm so I can just get the car started. I have spark and the fuel pump runs when I manually spin the CAS, but no injectors firing. Any ideas? Could there be a problem with the settings (possibly latency) with the injectors, or perhaps the map has wiped itself? I need to get a lap top onto it to have a snoop, but until then any suggestions on what to look out for would be helpful. Also, the car starts fine without the emanage. Cheers -Jez

Got my car started tonight. I have a few issues that need sorting out but atleast the bastard runs after 16 months of it being off the road. Oil pressure is good, just needs the ECU tweaked and a few little bits and pieces, so In around a month or two it should be on the track Mods are (for those who dont know) RB20DET - totally stock Trust TD06 L2 Emanage Ultimate 550cc sard injectors Z32 afm Bosch 023 in tank pump supporting mods etc I will run around 1.2bar through it to start and go from there

Have you checked that its not fuel that is the problem in #2? Is the injector firing?

Easy fix. There is a valve known as the IAC hidden under the throttle body. Clean the contacts on the plug and on the valve and it should return to normal. Also give the valve a blow out if ya can.

At the end of the day it depends on your setup. What ECU etc???? Your not going to have much luck doing a "TUNE" as such on a stock ECU without a remap. If you have an aftermarket one then someone could suggest a tuner who they have had success with for that particular ECU.

Personally I would not want to be using any injector (or fuel system for that matter) at more than MAX 85% of its capacity. In case shit happens, it is probably a good insurance. (having said that how anal and redundany you want / need to be with your fuel system depends on what what your doing with the vehicle and how far you want to take things), $$$ add up quickly

Cool, Drone does not bother me as its not a daily driver. The gate has a screamer pipe so a 3.5" cat back would suit to a T, especially if I went to a 10cm rear later on in life

I require the plugs with the terminals in them (as my plugs do not have the terminals) If someone has the terminals that I can put into the plugs that would also work Either of the below plugs will suit. LHS: SARD aftermarket plug RHS: RX7 s5 Plug.
