This was just stolen from the SE burbs area, Narree Warren, Pakenham, Cranbourne area If you see a Yellow S15 with 18" chrome wheels (5 spoke I think) C west front bar, please call the cops.... Im not 100% on the facts, but the car was for sale. Aparently some people came and had a look at it, came back and jumped the owner (a friend of mine).... As mentioned it all comes down to your own confidence. Id say if your only 99% then give it to a professional. No point getting half way and realising your not confident that you can install it correctly. As ash said, ripping an engine out etc is easy, fitting a FMIC for some reason is never straight forward.

where did the engine come from? a half cut etc? If you have power to all of the above possiably check that the fuel in your fuel rail hasnt solidified. Ive seen this a few times on cars that have had imported motors dropped in...also check that the fuel lines are in the right way around too

yer id also like a definate answer about the 040, Im looking to run close to 300rwkw with some love juice (c16) and daily 260-280 on PULP, the 040 is rated at a 500hp pump, I just dont want it on edge when running near 300rwkw Then theres the option of 044 (internally) Dont really want a swirl pot and ext pump.... From memory your using a 30R of some variant and a HKS manifold like moi I believe, correct??? Im chasing 260-280rwkw street tune and I will be using a Tial 38mm gate (I think my calculation from SK's thoughts were just under 38mm by a tiny bit. Id also say Tial would be the pick of the bunch as they are used and endorsed by Garrett USA and as an added bonus are much cheaper than turbosmart anyway.
