  1. Solution: I perscribe a case of harden the fark up and get rid of your AC totally, followed by using your power window button and harness the wonderful noew power of wind to cool you down
  2. Mt Dandenong: Mountain Highway is a nice drive, smooth and fun, mt dandy tourist rd, sherbrooke rd is an interesting one but punishment on exhausts and body kits. Emerald Monbulk rd and that area is nice, also finishing near upper beaconsfield is a good run... Black Spur: a good ride if you can go there without traffic getting in your way...continue onto reefton if you have balls and a well setup car. Just dont blame me if you die at 1am up there, and watch the fires up there Arthurs seat: a nice little set of uphill and downhill runs, tight in some spots, make sure you dont understeer into a cliff on the way up or off a cliff on the way down. -Jez
  3. dunno if ANGRY PM'd you for me Ill take them PM me your location...Im in SE burbs too can pickup -Jez
  4. Aussie R31 Skyline comparing the build quality to the VL and XF of the time from working on all cars, and driving the skyline and commodore alot it deserved to be right up there.
  5. My setup should be pulling 260+ rwkw from the specs of the mods I roughly listed.....I looked at a TD06, but it will run out of huff for my eventual desired power figures..... with cams, cam gears, head porting and some more boost I hope to get close to 300rwkw on PULP.....
  6. New Garrett $1670 + Fittings $200 Injectors $680 Z32 AFM $250 Manifold $600 - $1K Full 3" Exhaust $800+ Intercooler + Piping $600+ Fuel Pump $250 Remap + Tune $400+ roughly $5,500 - $6,000 Thats a rough guide to whats required from stock, and thats on the cheap
  7. mmmm makes the Historics even more sweeter now!!!!
  8. x2 Its pretty easy to put an engine in......if you had a whole 1/2 cut it would be piss easy also wiring isnt rocket science, you could get away with it for a 3 day weekend (if ur a noob at it) hire of an engine crane / stands or even just some tyres. Day one remove RB25, take out rb26 and put in Rb26, start bolting shit up, ave a few beers day 2 start wiring, possiably get running day 3, finish wiring / tidy up, drive I dare say it will all be plug and play as far as the looms go, IE plug for dash / fuel pump plugs / plugs in engine bay are same....But im more familiar with R31/32 looms, and R33 gtst, never played with r33 gtR -Jez
  9. seeing I brought it up.....I have no problem with it, I drive a HR31 as a weekender, it has macPhearson strust also.........so whats ur point? The point of trying to start an argument is it?
  10. some people should not be allowd to breed
  11. Nope cant find it anywhere.... http://www.horsepowerinabox.com/HPIAB2/prod18.htm --> nissan .63 rear (INT. gated) I see the 3037 reffered to as the 3076 often, but Im guessing trim sizes are different in reality http://www.horsepowerinabox.com/HPIAB2/prod19.htm ---> GT3040 .63 external gate Unless this housing is put onto the 3076 core and compressor cover?
  12. That endless girl certinly is EX Wife material
  13. whats the part number for the 3076 with .63 rear external gate? I see it on turbo by garrett, but nowhere for sale in aus
  14. the .63 comes only as internal gate from memmory in the 3076
  15. you talkin to me? I have an RB20....and have ext. gate setup, has to be a 3040
  16. Both slide and VPW have informed me that Garrett AUS are out of cores for the GT30R series. I orderd a GT3040 .63 rear, and was informed mid feb that it would be ready. I went with VPW as they are gerographically closer to deal with for warranty proposes and my company deals with them, so FIS shipping. Slide's price was the one of the best I could find in the country at this current time, he IS friggin cheap......a great thing for SAU users / members. Luckily I can wait as my car is going nowhere right now.
  17. doesnt the front suspension still use MacPhearson struts?

  24. Fatz got a S15 diff into his old HR31 coupe (r200 longnose housing, being helical trpe LSD also).... HR31 boys suffer the same issues, theres not much of a choice of aftermarket diff's out there compared to a short nose R200. Will be interesting to see how you get on with it all.... Jez
