  1. Id be more worried now what damage the pissing part of the plug did to the cylinder, the piston, and possiably more parts of the engine.
  2. Not trusting them is like saying you dont trust the NGK listing, which is fairly good considering NGK make genuine Nissan plugs. They will list Platinum plugs for your car. Highly doubt they will have BCPR7ES on shelf tho.
  3. There would be a poofteenth it in......Unless your going for that 0.0001 of a horsepower (exaggerated).....Grab a can of VHT flameproof for the sake of it....(thats if you can find some, seeing VHT plant blew up a while back) and aus is struggling to get most of the VHT lines in the country.... ne hoo just paint away -Jez
  4. Rockin out patto lakes......man this weather is messed up......white christmas' are awesome to the max
  5. Navara or hilux ute FTW.....tows, can have dual cab, and a tray to move parts and wheels tow vehicle of choice for IMO
  6. because i get stupid shit all day, like commodore owners calling castor rods Z bars and subframes K Frames.... and rocker covers rocket covers and boss kits bosch kits friggin ass hats....anyhoo pot this is kettle, topic over
  7. What the number for Nissan Japan then? EDIT: becides, thats an english translation, who said Nissan Japan meant them to be called rocker covers?

  10. so what your saying is that there is no greddy marked on the plenum..... Ok, so the kit come with a packet full of bits and pieces of vacume line stuff IIRC, and you would of needed a TB adapter unless you are using a Q45, the adapter comes in a small box with greddy / trust all over its plastic packaging too.... and the stuff filling the rest of the box is that annoying polystyrene stuff.....it was a funny colour IIRC, blue or something (yeah blue semi circlies Im sure of it)......if thats how yours has come its genuine
  11. PICS tell a thousand words.....who sold it to you? If its a trust one it should have come with a red greddy sticker, and the plastic packaging inside the box should have blue trust / greddy writing on it, forget what it says
  12. ps and hp are not the same..... ps is marginally less
  13. Ive been in the same gtr and driven it with the 517's....havent seen the 2860R's in a gtr infromt of me so havent had a chance to see in in action, having said that cant knock the 517's as they seemed to come on nice and early for what they are. I dont doubt they arent as responvice to the 2860, it from the trim size described they would easily. I dont wanna be made out like a jackass so I thought id have to give another of my 2cents. Ash, as stated you have been in a car with 2860's thats fine, theres a bit of a difference between sitting in a passenger seat and driving a car, so I cant see why you disregard the 517's so fast...I guess it all depends how you drive the car aswell.... each to their own....anyone wanna give me a ride in a 2860 powered GTR? So I can see what all the fuss and a fuedin is about? peace Jez

  15. Agreed, they are a verry responsive turbo and boy do they come on nice and smooth....
  16. I was under the impression that it was hi-flowed to around 82, reason being the rear housing is being changed to a new garret style internally gated 35R something like a 3582 (or thereabouts, new from garrett aparently), car has been running dramas suspect actuator and its rear housing was too inefficient for its application. Having said that it was a verry respoisive turbo. You should have fun with your setup, but i think it could be a little too restrictive if your chasing over 280 at the wheels easily with a standard engine.....It seems more suited to a RB20 the more i look at it, although the response would be a pig. my 2cents -Jez
  17. Geoff, am I right to guess that RB20DET (R32) injectors are the same resistance as the R33 RB25 ones? and the only difference being the wey they feed into the engine? Ive never sat them side by side... cheers -Jez

  21. I attatched a nice route to go through -Jez
  22. maybe the workshop doesnt know you well enough...and therefore doesnt know your driving abilities, therefore are letting you take it easy... although most people do fiddle with their boost controller from time to time, there is nothing stopping you from playing with settings if you wanted to.
