  1. Thats what i was thinking - hot air can still get into the airbox through the holes
  2. Freakin hot
  3. If your at fault you should pick the smash repairer and get at least one quote to compare
  4. The most you probably will ever pay for is consumables - Oil, Oil filter, Spark plugs, Tyres and/or modifications lol If you do the regular maintenance as described above it will give you trouble free motoring really Fuel costs - i get around 500k's per tank (only mods are cat back exhust, pod & boost controller running std boost) - i fill up around the 1/4 mark and it takes around 45+ litres and costs $50+
  5. 33s are better
  6. 33 - Newer - Better gearbox - Better motor A set of coilovers & sway bar and it handles brilliantly Exhaust, FMIC and a touch more boost and its an awesome daily driver that you can drive to and from the track with no probs at all Then if u decide you want to go crazy, throw a rb26 in it hehe
  7. Great find - just registered
  8. I havent owned a fd, but did have a fairly modified fc as a daily Dont believe the bullshit you hear about them needing a rebuild every 6 months. Mine did 200,000ks before it even needed a rebuild, and it was done only as a precaution. Fuel is a killer with rotaries, they use much more than a skyline. They are a great looking car, easy to get power out of, and much cheaper to rebuild - i bought a block package for around 3k - ported, hurley seals - just needed the bolt ons and it could have easy gone to 500kw. They are a true enthusiasts car, and need to be looked after Ive had my r33 gtst for 6 months now and again, its not the same but i think its quite a good daily driver, much better than the fc was. Fuel consumption is much less, its very comfortable, roomier and modern inside, also easy to get power out of, but more expensive to rebuild than a rotary. I reckon test drive both and then you will decide which one is best
  9. Get a nice ti pulsar - cheaper insurance and it has the same running gear as the sss We just sold ours to buy my r33 (heh ) but i loved driving it - was lowered, exhaust, stereo...fun daily
  10. Spotted Jas25t on market st today

  12. If first one falls thru let me know - ill take em
  13. If you have a trailer on the back you shouldnt be doing 100 - legal towing speed is 80kph I havent seen the car around, may not be a local Report it to the police and let them deal with it
  14. Makes a HUGE difference once its sorted hey! Took me about 6 weeks to fix mine, and boy did it feel like a new car

  19. Yeah i was very dissapointed - Its a really really good phone, and i bought it specifically for my job Thats also not to say that it wont work for anyone else, in my case it didnt work first time i tried. Could be the way our exhange server is set up? I dont have time to play with settings to try and get it to sync, when the k800i did it in 5 minutes and all i did was install software At this price its a steal - Still $900+ on Ebay Cheers J
  20. They are a core They do the same job The piping might be cheaper, and the welds might not be as good but results speak louder than words Same goes for the whole JDM exhaust vs Local made exhaust debate
