Where abouts are you, I have one in Brissy.
-
Not limited to a 200SX, willing to trade for any sporty sort of car and even a SWB 4WD with cash adjustment. Do a lot of travelling with my business and can't keep doing as many kays in the GTR as I am doing.
-
Where abouts are you? I have two that I will sell for the price of one, as one is stuffed, just not sure which one! I upgraded to 80mm with pods.
-
As stated would like a pair of R32 GTR seats, preferably in the Brisbane region.
-
The cash adjustment was either way, depending on which car is worth more. But sorry not really interested in an S14, i like the looks of the S15 better.

With my standard computer i was able to rev all the way to 10 grand, did it a couple of times by accident in second gear and once in third gear by not watching the tacho. i have a chip to remove the speed limiter, but don;t know why i could rev so high with a standard computer. Now with the Power FC I am back to a rev limit of 8250rpm. I know its not really the smartest thing to do and i was really worried when i did it, but my motor is still very strong, 165psi across all cylinders with 100,000km's on the clock. .

Price drop $27,500 ono Would consider swapping for S15 or similar and cash adjustment

I have to agree with you DD, that was an absolute bargain and an offer of $700 was an absolute insult. -
Symptoms Of Faulty Afm And Injectors
Sacony replied to ruffryder's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
i had the same problem, basically after driving around for a while it would basically shut down and only allow me to rev to 2500rpm and stall when coming to a stop. The problem was afm's and since replacing them have had no problems at all. But i also had other problems associated with my top end power, my throttle position sensor and neutral switch were stuffed and my fuel pressure regulator was buggered only giving 3.5 bar instead of 5. So after all those things were fixed my GTR is running very sweet. -

Traps In Buying A R32 Gtr? Help?
Sacony replied to Viper1555's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
Go for a drive in as many GTR's as you can. You will soon get a feel and be able to tell which ones are good or bad. Obviously the tidiness of the car is important, but if the engine, trans and suspension is in good order. It is much cheaper to clean up a GTR cosmetically than fix things wrong with the rest of it! -
Pentae - I have the same sort of modification to my exhaust system except I have 3.5inch back from the cat, but I don't have any aftermarket dumps. I am running 14psi boost and this gave me an extra 60KW at the rears assuming standard is around 170KW. So you should be feeling a big difference! As for below 4000rpm didn't have the chance to drive the standard exhaust system, but mine is pretty sluggish too until i hit boost at about 3500rpm.

Just had my GTR tuned at Brisbane Tuning & Turbo Centre, they fixed my problem straight away. Can highly recomend them, just don't listen to the mechanics as they bag your car while they are working on it!! But John has a fair bit of knowledge about GTR's, he has an old Zed car with an RB26 transplant (putting out 547HP at the wheels), his son drives a GTR and one of the mechanics (the one bagging the wheels on my car) has one too.
-
You've mentioned everything else that surround these parts, but do you have the standard air flow meters?
-
The air flow meters were buggered, but have been fixed now. The ECU diagnostics have all been done, thats how we found the afm's problem.

At the moment the computer is getting locked out. By that I mean whatever it tells the O2 sensor, for example, to do it justs locks at a certain setting. It only seems to be the O2 sensor that is doing this, have replaced them, but with no luck. Car still runs ok, but is missing a fair bit of power. At first we thought it was the computer, but we tried the Power FC and exactly the same thing happens. Has anybody experienced this problem? Mechanic thought there might be a problem in the wiring loom, but this has been replaced. But in saying that the replacement loom could be faulty too.

Maximum Gear Speeds of an R32 Gearbox
Sacony replied to Osman R32's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
This is for a GTR, but 1st can get 60, 2nd 120, 3rd 160, but have had at 180 a couple of times and 4th has been to 230, haven't found top speed for 5th. :Bang: -
i've read the trick the gibson motorsport guys used for the gtr's was to turn the g sensors around opposite to the way they normally operate. Although they must have had other tricks as that would then encourage wheelspin on acceleration.
-
Try Greenline, might not be the cheapest way though. http://www.greenline.jp/
-
some sources quote 0.87Bar which is 12.6PSI just to be fussy. Which seems about right as thats my guage hovers around 0.9Bar in my car.
-
The yellow top injectors are standard I think dude, thats what colour mine are anyway. Great choice of ride!!
-
Looking at the website it only says 24kW, but to prove it Trevour dyno's the car before and after. To me thats pretty good service from an exhaust specialist!

Getting through Regency in R32
Sacony replied to Jinman's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Depends what you replace them with, I went the urethane bushes way, Fulcrum did the fitting and supply. It ended up costing me the good part of $900.
