Hey guys this isn’t a fab question but I couldn’t find the precise place to put this. how much money and time would it take to get an engine converted with hemi heads and pistons/is it even possible. I’m looking at doing this for an RB26 build I’m putting together also if anyone knows of somewhere in SA that does this could you leave a link or a name for the place. thanks I’m advance

gonna be looking to push out at least 550hp and maybe 520 torque. It’s going to essentially be an everything car. I’ve built some decent cars before and had the privilege of working on a few of my mates cars with them. The idea is that it will be doing track, drift comps, drag (probably not very competitively) and definitely burnouts.

Rear wheel drive

Hey guys I’ve been trying to do some research and so far my chances are looking pretty slim. I’m trying to find out what the best gearbox would be for an RB26dett. Note that it won’t be a dett forever I’m taking off one of the turbos and swapping it for a supercharging to make a custom twin charge so it needs to hold up to a fair amount of HP and torque. Any advice would be great thanks

Are they rare or just an extremely uncommon choice of R33?

Hey guys, so I recently acquired an R33 from a wrecking yard for 1k originally me and my friend were just going to get the engine and a Toyota celiac and do a long excruciating build to put the two together as a rwd custom build but we thought better of that. I haven’t worked much on imports but have done a lot on fords and Holdens. Needless to say I have no idea what I have on my hands. Build plate shows and R33 1995 skyline coupe with and RB20e but I so far haven’t seen many others with this engine when doing research. This thing is getting a complete rebuild with a new motor at some point but just wanted to know if anyone had any sort of knowledge on it before I start.
