  1. Rather rare offsets, I have 2 sets of 18 x 10.5 but in lower offsets. Check my signature for links to sale threads... Cheers
  2. After a dash pad off a series 2 or 3 R33 GT-R, they came out in 96-98. Needs to have passenger side airbag cover, although I do not need the airbag. Do not need dash fascia or anuthing else, just bare dash pad. Anyone know of one preferebly in Melbourne that would be great. Post here or PM me... Cheers, Jack
  3. Here's a pic of one sitting on the car..... Still for sale....

  5. All the engines above are rebuilt by Racepace.
  6. Nice work Ash, good to see how the various turbo setups behave on Racepace engines. The Trust turbos are the T517Z 8cm version, exactly the same as what I had back in the day. Now you can see why I went to -5's instead. The Trust turbos make good peak power but lack the low end response...
  7. Yeah there's definitely something not right there. You mentioned something about camber and castor not being as good as previous car, although it should account for a significant difference I'd doubt it would be 4 seconds worth. I say get back out there as from what you were saying you only got a couple of dry sessions that day at Winton and after all it's been quite a few years since you were last out there so you might have been a little rusty. Don't give up, I say get back out there and give it another go before pulling the car apart......
  8. WOW those Midori dumps look the goods, well priced aswell.... Piggaz, definetly recommend going bigger exhaust, although you don't want the noise to go with it. My Racepace jobbie is twin 3inch after the dumps (have Xforce dumps) all the way to the tail pipes using single muffler half way and another at the rear. in other words the twin pipes enter and exit one muffler. Sounds reasonably quiet and flows really well. Anyway look forward to your results....
  9. Did you put your car on a 4wd dyno? That usually shows a lower figure than in 2wd mode. I can understand your frustration but let me tell you this, don't take dyno figures as gospel, they are a tuning tool and each dyno and dyno operator is different. Also having 380rwkws does not give you a high 10 sec pass, there are many other factors that play a big role. Have you taken it to the drags? If so what time and most importantly what mph? Also do you have a copy of the dyno sheet? Or were you just 'told' that's what power it makes? Sorry Piggaz for the hijack, but back to your dilemma I'd say at the level of power your at it wouldn't hurt trying out the bigger dumps, we all need a guinea pig!!!
  10. Hasn't the car dropped quite a bit of horsepower compared to the old one since you're running a smaller exhaust and different turbos???
  11. Did you buy the car from a previous Racepace customer or did you have the mods done yourself? Seems like you're not convinced with the power claims so why not take it back there and get another dyno run? Maybe something is not right, maybe there's a boost leak there could be something holding it back hence not feeling the claimed 380rwkws. The Racepace dyno is not known to be a 'happy' dyno.... A quick track car would be an equally quick street car unless your racing over 200km/h. However a quick track car does not make a quick drag car as peak power is the emphasis. Hope that helps.....
  12. Interesting conversation here so thought I'd throw in my 2c for what it's worth... - Peak power and average power serve two different purposes, I'd take higher average power over greater peak power any day..... - Gav's graph is a perfect example, look at the hump in the mid range after installing -5's, truely amazing.. - What do you want to use the car for? If dyno and drag, stick with the GT-RS's, if streetability/response/circuit then go -5's.... - In regards to the OS gearset I had the same problem, due to the gearing I found my car 'doughy' and sluggish around 3rd gear corners (and too fast for taking it in 2nd), due to the revs sitting lower at the same given speed, but this was on a 2.6 with -5's, so extra cc's might improve it a bit. Either way went back to the standard box and gearing and sold the OS gearset box... - Sounds like you have an amazing setup and my opinion is the -5's will compliment it even more. - Look at tangomatt's setup, I've driven the car and it's something I'd most probably will not experience again (in a pre-R35 GT-R) although he does have V-CAM.... Good luck with it all......
  13. Any reasonable offers considered...
  14. Hey Simon, Sad to see your letting her go mate, awesome car for an awesome price. New owner will be impressed. All the best with the sale. Cheers, Jack
  15. Your wrong again, here's the deal. The Linfox truck Is stationary at the set of lights waiting to turn into Victoria street. South auderley road is a two way street so the lady in the car for whatever reason has attempted to overtake the truck on the wrong side of the road. The Linfox truck is not parked or blocking the road, it's waiting for the green light to turn into Victoria street. So therefore the twit in the car is in the wrong and the b-double had every right to drive in the lane it did and should have not waited for the car to pass as it would have blocked Victoria street causing mayhem. Hope that helps.
  16. Coz she was on the wrong side of the road blocking oncoming traffic. I drive througfh there quite often in my truck, you'd be surprised how many people do this. At least they have the courtesy to get out of the way.... I see this type of idiocy every day, you learn to accept it and not worth the trouble most of the time... Cab drivers are the best though, especially when someone puts their hand up on the footpath, cabbie comes in from the right lane pit stop styles!!!! Have come close to taking a few out over the years....
  17. No worries mate.. Still for sale....
