Cheers for the comments beer baron. Seems like vspect has his heart set on the rs's, irrespective of performance. Both JFK and Adam Newton run tein ra's revalved and modded by racepace and both have done 1:16's at sandown. It's all good having the extra adjustment in the rs's, but in saying that ever since racepace installed them I have never touched them. The way they set them up seems like a good compromise for all the different tracks in Vic. I think vspect needs to evaluate exactly what a serious track car comprises of. Are you looking at stripping the car of all unnecessary weight, adding in a cams approved weld in cage and all the other mods which strip it of it's road going capabilities? If so I would look at getting another car, coz it seems like you have a very nice example of a street gtr and would be a shame to strip it and build it into a serious track car. Although if you do decide to do it at least you have a nice example to start off with.

Definetly all the same....

Tein RA's are anodized made from billet alloy. Painting them will fix your problem but they will look different to original. Why not just leave them? No one sees them under the car.....

Have had quite a few chats with the boys at Chasers, they seem to build some quick Evos, there's usually about ten of them parked out the front... Fastest I've heard is a flat 1:30 in an Evo8 with 300awkws, no interior/aircon, with slicks and Chris from Centreline driving it. After that they have an EVO6 (workshop car) that's done a 1:31.8 on semis... The one pictured above has had the aircon removed, plenty of suspension mods and from memory 270awkws. The owner has done many laps of Winton aswell and is quite familiar with it. Still a top effort for an EMO....

Well done Ant and Russ, those times are getting serious, good to see SAU still at the top of the time boards. What's with the Evos these days?? Are they driven by pro drivers?? They're getting up there with the times aswell.... We can't have Evos having the fastest times of the day!!!!

Bought these recently due to having a set previously in bronze, wanted something different to the common bronze/silver/black/gunmetal... Unfortunately they do not accomodate my new brakes.. There's bugger all clearance between the caliper and rim, stupid V8 supercar brakes!!!! So therefore I have to regretably get rid of them. These are brand new, have not had any tyres fitted to them and have only pulled one out of the box to trial fit and take photos. They are very hard to come by in gold, have only seen them once before in the flesh on a blue R32 GT-R in 18 x 9.5. SPECS are pictured below: And some pics of the wheel I removed from the box: They look much better out in the sunlight, the finish is remarkable: Rims are located at Racepace Motorsport in Bayswater VIC for inspection, will freight at buyer's expense, around $80 for the set along the eastern board of Australia.
