  1. No probs mate, if it's still around it's all yours....
  2. Sorry mate, no sunvisors. Also not wanting to seperate, price drop to $280 for the lot!!!!
  3. I get all my gear from here: http://www.loadrestraint.com.au/ They cut to what ever length you need, usually on the spot. Hope that helps....
  4. What you have quoted is not the TEIN RS's that Tangomatt and other Racepace GT-R's use. They are the replacement model which are too hardcore for a street orientated track car....
  5. Hey mate, I have a friend with an RB30 with a similar bonnet to Top Secret style (one vent at the front that dips down) and had to remove it due to it fouling out on the cam cover. An adequate solution would be to get the Nismo Z Tune style bonnet, it doesn't dip down near the front of the engine. Only problem is trying to find one. I bought mine about 5 years ago but the company that made them in QLD have discontinued them. Hope that helps...
  6. Hey cloaky, seems like you've done quite a bit of research and you have raised some valid points. I guess it all depends how desperate the seller is. I have recently seen the prices of similar rims and people should pay attention to the 'ono' part of the price. I've had a few offers, one really stupid one but I guess at the end of the day you can only try. Worst case scenario I will just ignore your offer, or say no. They come up quite often so I'm sure you will be able to find a set for your mate at the right price. The wheels are now sold, paid for and picked up by the new owner. Cheers, Jack
  7. Hey Phil, Complete front including headlights has been sold and picked up by the new owner. Will keep an eye out for you though if anything pops up.... Cheers, Jack
  8. Stiil for sale!!! Price drop to $1900 ono...
  9. Price drop, $1800.... Still taking up space!!!
  10. For $3.6k get the super lap version, that's cheap. Is that stock here in Aus or do you have to place an order?? PM the place you're getting these prices from, I'm interested in some TE37's super laps. Cheers
  11. There's 1 too many zeros your seeing there Eugene!
  12. Mate that is a bargain! They are worth around $4.3k-$4.5k brand new depending on exchange rate, and that's not including tyres!!! What colour are the ones you found?
  13. All of the three wheels I mentioned in my first post are a forged monoblock design, meaning they are strong and very light. It all depends which one you like and availability. If you choose either of these rims you will not need to change them unless you damage them or get sick of the look. Be prepared to pay though, being 10.5 wide they are rare and not as accessible as 9.5 inch wide equivalents...
  14. GT-C's are more of a 'bling' wheel rather than a track wheel. They are not as light as the rims I mentioned above. But if bling is your thing then go for it, but if it's performance your after then stick to the wheels I metioned. Cheers
  15. Mate best thing you could do is head over to Import Monster (around the corner from Racepace). He has a wide variety of wheels in the size you are after. Have you decided what model Volks you want?? TE37's, CE28N's, LMGT4's??
  16. I have no idea mate as I own a R33 GT-R which uses different upper control arms. I'm pretty sure the standard arms can be used with offset bushes to allow for a little more camber. Wouldn't want to run too much camber for a street car that does a few kms, tyres will not last as long....
  17. All in good time mate, I have had my car for 8 years now!!!! I have Tein RS coilovers that have been re-valved, custom spring seats, custom springs etc... All top secret Racepace settings... Those Ohlins are coilover porn. Although I'll tell you a secret. Ben's old R33 GT-R had the Ohlins, but he ended up using the Tein RS's in the end..... I'd say it may have to do with the re-valving mods....
  18. Best you consult with Chris (Racepace) before you consider 'other' options. The setups that Racepace prefer have undergone many hours of R&D, and the results speak for themselves....
  19. Sounds like exactly the way my car is setup at the moment. Didn't want to lose the driveability and comfort for the street and be at the pointy end of the time boards at the track. Racepace will build you a great car, they focus a lot on the 'comfortable, quiet, track performance monster'. Does that even make any sense??? Good luck with it all and look forward to your progress.....
  20. Fair enough, what will you be using the car for? Will you be doing a lot of track work? If you find a set of second hand ones for $1500 that are in good condition and you don't want them let me know, I'll jump on them for that price....
  21. Not necessarily, but add in what you have suggested above therefore includes removing standard upper control arms/bushes, purchasing new aftermarket arms/bushes, installing new aftermarket arms/bushes, get another wheel alignment for new camber settings, and all of a sudden it's getting extensive (and also expensive). Your missing the point, Willis has specified NO modifications, I'm not disagreeing what your saying won't work, it's just no good for this application.... From my understanding in Willis' posts he's not building a track car. Make sense??
  22. So therefore the wheel size you're recommending does not suit Willis' needs.... He's better off sticking to a 18 x 9.5 +22 wheel, what your suggesting requires extensive modifications....
  23. Your not wrong mate, very hard to come by these days.. I have some RA's for sale, main difference is the RA's don't have the remote canisters and extra adjustment. Click on my link below if interested... Cheers
  24. Still for sale, great upgrade for someone looking at improving the handling of their car...
