  1. R33 series 3 gearbox, R33 GT-R short motor and Cusco upper control arms are SOLD. Everything else still available.....
  2. Hey Chris, I was using the standard master cylinder with ABS, did not have free play or long pedal at all, in fact needed much less force on the pedal to stop, basically you could rest your foot on the brake pedal and your eyes tried to detach themselves from your skull. Very firm pedal, was very impressive. PWR in QLD did the adaptors and hats, they have the drawings and dimensions. I wouldn't run them with the Enkeis, there was only about 1mm clearance between the caliper and the rim, if a stone got in there it would make a mess. Nismo LMGT4's or TE37's would be your best bet.... Hope that helps... Cheers, Jack
  3. Tempting!!!!! Remember you posting years ago about your collection of brakes, insane..... You have two sets of Alcons already, that's enough for you buddy boy!!!!!! None for now, keeping it stock so it doesn't cost me too much money to maintain....
  4. Seems like somebody can't wipe their smile off their face!!!! Yes mate they are long gone, made their way up to Brisbane just like this set did.... My brake whoring days are over.... For now... Come to think of it, I've gone from: - Standard Brembos - then Brembo F50 kit - then Alcon 'street' kit - then Alcon 'street' kit with bigger and thicker rotors - then Alcon V8 super car kit I think I'm due for some 8 pot mono block endurance Brembos with carbon ceramic rotors... Maybe NOT.....
  5. Wow! These are rare as hen's teeth!!!. Awesome bit of gear at a great price. People must realize that these are a direct fit and line up perfectly, unlike the copies getting around. Good luck with the sale....
  6. R33 GT-R short motor SOLD pending payment...
  7. Unfortunately no, although he was using everything had to hold back!!!!! All I can say is that they are going on a time attack GTR, I'm sure you will see this car in the not too distant future. Apparently the front calipers are worth $5k each brand new!!!! I'm pretty sure the new owner is chuffed.....
  8. SOLD.... Congrats to the new owner, got himself an absolute bargain...
  9. Forgot to mention braided brake lines are included in the sale....
  10. Cusco upper control arms SOLD pending payment.
  11. Hey Brad, Putting it on a pallet and sending it up to you will not be an issue. Can you send Private Messages yet? I think you need more than 5 posts. If you can send me your email address I can send you photos and more info. Cheers, Jack
  12. Anything to do with GTR's ain't cheap!!!!! These coil overs are not off the shelf items, in fact they are discontinued and not available new anymore. They have been totally rebuilt and customized to be exceptional on the track aswell as on the street. I understand that they are not for everybody, but those in the know will vouch for their performance and the price that goes with it.... More PM's replied. Cheers, Jack
  13. They were indeed!!! Great memories tearing it up with the usual suspects...
  14. Hey Brad, Yeah mate, windage tray and crank girdle are all there. Basically only the head and sump were removed. This was a running engine before pulled out of the car. Was down on compression on two cylinders but after removing the head could not see any damage to the rings so not sure why it had low compression. There is no damage to the crank or bearings. Are you in Melbourne? If so you are more than welcome to have a look. Cheers, Jack
  15. Lol, unfortunately don't have the time these days to play around with GTR's so better off let somebody else enjoy the gear that I have accumulated over 10 years. The car itself will be up for sale shortly aswell, might hang onto it for the SAU Nationals to enjoy it one more time but have only driven it twice this year. PMs replied....
  16. Thanks for the comments guys, they are truly special. Brake p0rn at it's finest!! Couple more pics... Rolling shot Currently behind some 18 x 10.5 LMGT4's
  17. OK, didn't want to ever let go of these brakes as they were very hard to source and are pretty much as good as it gets.. I bought the calipers, rotors and pads second hand but were in excellent condition as they were only used for a practice weekend for testing. The calipers were refurbished, this included repainting them, new piston seals, bridge pipe, bleed nipples, heat stickers etc. So they were practically brand new once redone, and still are since I'd be lucky to have done more than 500kms on the street with them, these have not been on the track since I got them on the car.... They were professionally painted by a panelbeater using a custom gold/bronze colour with a matt clear to give them the anodized look. The Alcon logo was painted in navy blue. Brand new Alcon heat stickers were also put on. The hats and caliper brackets are billet cnc items, made by PWR in QLD who are the Aussie distributor for Alcon. The rear brakes still retain the factory hand brake drum so you can still use the handbrake. Currently on my car at the moment but the car is in storage so they will not get anymore use. Included in the package is: FRONTS - 6 pot monoblock endurance calipers with titanium pistons - 378MM X 35MM Alcon rotors - PFC brake pads (30mm thick!!!) - Billet hats anodized in black - Billet caliper brackets anodized in black REARS - 4 pot monoblock endurance calipers with titanium pistons - 343MM X 32MM Alcon rotors - PFC brake pads - Billet hats with handbrake drum anodized in black - Billet caliper brackets anodized in black These brakes are not only better in performance compared to the street Alcon kit PWR sells, but will also last longer as far as rotors and pads go. I found myself changing pads often with my previous Alcon 'street' kit due to the pads being almost half the thickness, these pads being 30mm thick will not get the heat transferred through the whole thickness of the pad and thus will last a lot longer, especially if used in sprints (4-5 laps) as I was using them for. I also went through a set of rotors with the old setup being 32mm thick, these are 35mm thick. So therefore the cost difference between the street kit and the V8 supercar kit I have for sale will deminish over time making these brakes an absolute bargain!!! PWR sell the V8 supercar kit for over $22k new!!!! Unique Autosports also have them for sale, check the link below: http://www.nismo.com.au/pricelists/pricelist_braking.htm OK, here's some pics: FRONTS: They fit (JUST!!) under 18x10.5 inch ENKEI RPF1's.. Pic of front caliper after re-painting.. REARS: This photo was taken trial fitting before hats were anodized.. PRICE: $11K ono NOTE: These brakes may not fit some 18 inch wheels due to the width of the caliper, especially wheels with big dish due to the spokes sitting close to the centre of the wheel. I found many of the Rays/Volk wheels (TE37, LMGT4, CE28N etc..) will not have any such problems. Will ship interstate at buyer's cost, PM or reply here if interested. Brakes located in Narre Warren North, VIC. Cheers, Jack
  18. Time to clear out the shed and getting rid of all the GT-R parts I have collected over the years. I have the following available: First up is a complete cylinder head with plenum, exhaust manifilds, cam covers, basically everything is there to bolt up to a block. Fuel injectors, coil packs, crank angle sensor and turbos are all that's missing to make it a complete top end. This head has undergone some major custom work by Racepace Motorsport and is basically a one off. It has been reconditioned with new valves and most importantly has had some port work which resulted in valuable gains. The power came on earlier and also benefited from top end aswell. This costed me a considerable amount of coin so those of you who are after a basic head need not apply. The head uses standard cams which worked really well with the modifications to the head and also benefits from keeping the engine sounding and idling standard, good for keeping away unwanted attention. This head came off my car which had done around 500kms of street driving, I have not used this on the track, so basically it's like new. It also has Racepace adjustable cam gears(500kns old). PRICE: $3200 ono for everything mentioned above... Xforce stainless split dumps suit R32, R33 and R34 GTR, used but have no cracks, in very good condition. PRICE: $300 ono Series 3 GT-R gearbox with transfer case. This gearbox was rebuilt with new bearings and series 3 synchros and has done approx 2000kms. The transfer case has been modified by Racepace Motorsport to give extra torque to the front wheels. Made a big difference on the track as the car had much more stomp out of the slower corners. It had fresh redline oil put in it when it got rebuilt. PRICE: $2750 ono Cusco front adjustable upper control arms suit R33 and R34 GTR only. These have been modified by Racepace Motorsport to improve turn in. Can achieve -3.5 degrees of camber using standard lower control arms. Used but in very good condition. PRICE: $450 ono TEIN Circuit Master RS coilovers suit R33/34 GT-R's only. These were revalved and rebuilt to Racepace's custom specifications, and has also custom spring seats to accomodate custom springs. They are a worthy investment for any track orientated car. They are also an awesome package for the street, not that harsh of a ride considering how good they are for the track. I have done a 1:18.7 at Sandown with this setup so definetly worth the money. PRICE: $4250 ono R33 GTR short motor, includes N1 water pump (near new), oil pump, balancer, crank, rods and pistons. Was compression tested before being removed from car and was down on 2 cylinders. Its a standard bottom end and the block has not been machined. Ideal for someone wanting to rebuild an engine on the side without having their car off the road. PRICE: $850 ono R34 GTR standard sump and diff. Came off an engine that had done 72000kms. In very good condition. PRICE: $800 ono Standard RB26 cylinder head out of an R33 GTR, has been crack tested and is OK, suit reco, no cams, cam covers, valves, springs, shims, retrainers. Bare head only but has had a dash fitting pressed in for oil drain at the rear. Has slight markings on journals as pictured below. PRICE: $300 ono Currently all items are located in Narre Warren North in VIC, but will post items interstate at buyer's expense. PM or reply here if interested. Cheers, Jack
  19. T517z's will make big power, but the -5's are much better for response....
  20. Yes!!! It's been a while mate, hope all is well. Be good to see the BBGTR machine out there again, although my car is a lot slower these days...
  21. Unfortunately have prior commitments so will have to sit this one out. So might do Sandown on the 18th with AROCA, either way definetlty doing PIARC on October 2nd....
  22. Hmmm, can't attend the WRX round at Sandown on the 24th so this might be a goer. Will have to see, might save myself for PIARC on Oct 3/4.....
  23. Mate that's an unbelievable time considering the mods and tyres, you really do have the skill and knowledge to push it to it's limits. The Evo will definetly go 1-2 seconds quicker, just unfortunate I ran out of fuel and couldn't do the last 2 sessions, I didn't drive out of my comfort zone, whereas PI REQUIRES you to scare yourself, I was not going quick enough through turn 1, hayshed and turn 12, big gains from these corners. I'm definetly in for PI on October 3, not doing anything else until then....
