I have an original aluminium bonnet from an R32 GT-R in black, has minor stone chips but no dents. Can be picked up from inner suburbs of Melbourne, or shipped interstate at buyers expense. Price: $550 ono PM or reply here...

Unfortunately it falls on the same weekend this year... what a bummer....

That's great to hear mate. That's the best thing about the car, it looks standardish and sounds like it too. It's so smooth you could use it as a daily, although with the camber you'd be going through the tyres!!! The times this car has achieved at the tracks here in Melbourne is outstanding, 1:44's at the Island!!!! Best of luck with it mate, I'm sure it will bring you many years of happiness.....

So Simon, how was the drive back to Sydney? What are your impressions on the car compared to others you had inspected?

Mate if you've decided to buy this car you are one smart man. To build that car you'd need an extra 50k on top of what your paying. Absolute monster with the unwanted attention....

Hey Pete, No didn't get it on the dyno, put it on last time so didn't feel the need to again.

Was good to get down to RE, even though I got there after 1:30pm, there were still many people around, and the court was full of cars!!! Good to see everyone, it had been a while, but still can't get over Al!!! Dude I didn't recognise you!!! Super effort mate hope you can maintain it. Thanks to Ash and his BBQ duties, snags were ace as usual. Bec and other committee members for all the logistics side of running the day, people must realise without their efforts the club would not be what it is today without spending countless hours of their OWN time. Super effort!!! Ray and the crew at RE Customs are one of the best in the business, and their dyno days never fail to impress. And to everyone else I bumped into that I hadn't seen for a while, was great to catch up. Finally great to see Matt with his R34 again, that car is just something else.... P.S Thanks to SAUVIC for the Super Cheap voucher, my guess was only .1kw off what the Audi pushed out!!!

Saw Matt and this beast again yesterday at the SAU VIC BBQ. Cannot get enough of it!!!! It surely attracted attention and many did not believe the power figure it pushes due to it looking so standard under the bonnet. So many people were just standing there in a 'trance', the effect this car has just sitting there is something else... Can't wait to see the interior!!!!

Haha, thanks Pete, saw your car at Dom's the other day, I like what you've done with the calipers, looks really good, especially hiding behind those BBS LM's.... The car looks really neat, will have to go for a drive one day... Assuming your asking me, it's carbon over FRP bonnet made here in Aus. Bought it from Unique Autosports quite a few years back but they can't get them anymore.... I have seen them on Yahoo Auctions though.... Thanks mate, especially coming from someone who would have to own the best GT-R in Aus, if not the world.... Cheers...
