Wow Matt, that is one cool strut brace!!!
There will be no flex between the strut towers thats for sure!!!!
What a work of art.....
And you've got more mods coming?? What else is there to do???
Yep John Kennedy sure knows how to steer!!! The car was built and prepped by Racepace.
Every thing not needed in the car has been removed, not sure what it weighs but I'd say he's taken 200kg's out of it...
He's in the low 1:16's at Sandown...
Got a couple of bits for sale to clear up some space.
First is a pair of Top Secret style rear pods to suit R33 GT-R, don't see why it wouldn't fit a GTS-T also.
They are black in colour and have slight marks on them. There is no cracks or any other major damage to them.
Price: $250 ono
Second item is a pair of Ikeya Formula upper control arms to suit R33/34 GT-R. They are used but in great condition, just a few scratches from road debris. These cost $1200 brand new from Japan and are a worthy upgrade if you track your GT-R.
Price: $870 ono
Both items are located inner suburbs of Melbourne and will post interstate at buers expense.
Reply here or PM if interested, low ballers will be ignored.
Cheers
Very nice PM-R33, very clean and tastefully modified.
Reminds me of my first Skyline, series 2 in white. Back in 1999 there weren't many around....
GT-C's set it off nicely....
LOL, I remember that day, an MX-5 went a second quicker than me.... and 11 seconds slower than you...
Wouldn't mine getting out there to see if I can better my 1:02.7.
What do u reckon Snowy? u up for it???

Porn wheels/tyres at a reasonable price.
All the best with the sale Matt...
Matt, was that the same day you went 160km/h down the main straight in reverse??
Go on Roy, DO IT!!!! 1:05's is flying though....
Interesting times on the lap records list.
Didn't know this list existed.
Might have to clear out the cob webs and give Aarons Calder record a go.
Been a loooooong time since I punched out a lap time....
Nice work Steve, looks like you've reached your goal!!!
45's on street rubber is flying!!!
So what tyres/camber did you end up going with?
Well done...
Again, well done on a ripper time, you gotta be happy with that. Glad to hear you had a blast, and good to see you made it home safe.
Will have to come up to NSW to have a 'play' in the near future...
Rebuild alone will cost you 15k, if you don't have the bolt ons to make 400kw allow for more.
Allow another 20k to make the car go fast around a track (suspension, brakes, wheels, tyres etc....)
Bloody money pits!!!!
Hey Steve,
As previous conversations it would be best to test the car at EC with the tyre of choice and a pyrometer.
I found that street tyres don't like huge amounts of camber on my car, but then again each car is different. Spring rates/valving will also affect camber settings.
Hope it all goes well.....
