  1. What happened Andrew? Checked out Natsoft and you're not there? Markov did a 1:39.1, fark that's insane, must have been on slicks.
  2. Main differences between series 1 and series 3 are: - Xenon headlights - Deeper/fatter lower lip - Red stitching on interior seats/door trims - Right hand rear tailight has a red fog light in place of reverse light - Stronger synchros in gearbox - KR4 silver was not available in Series 1 - KL0 silver was not available in Series 3 There may be more but those are the most common...
  3. Fark Andrew I hate reading these threads of yours, it's been over a year since I last had a go at PI. Will have to stick it out for another year. Good luck, and don't go faster than 1:46.
  4. Any pics of the brakes Matt???
  5. Don't do that, they will give you 15k at the most. Better off taking it with you and holding off a little longer, you will sell it, it's just a matter of time.... Neat car with tasteful mods. Good luck with the sale...
  6. Can't wait to see this finished.... Saw the parts sitting at Racepace, all I can say is WOW!!!
  7. Silver 33GTR's with black LMGT4's.... Although my silver is KL0... P.S Neat car KR4-GTR
  8. Great idea djr81!!! Looks like a very tight track, nice work... Ok here's mine... Circuit: Sandown Raceway Car: R33 Skyline GT-R. Driver: me, and that's Snowman in the blue R34 in front... Lap time: 1:18.7 seconds. Camera: Panasonic video camera (mini dv tape) mounted on harness bar Link:
  9. WOW, love the Ikeya formula suspension collection. Awesome build, credit to you dazmo.....
  10. Yep, time was done on full slicks. Was on semis for first half of the day.... Still an amazing time from an amazing car....
  11. And don't expect your clutch to last long if it's standard..
  12. Cheers ponyboy... The only mess your get yourself into is the strain on the hip pocket. Second hand people are still asking around 2.5k (excellent condition) for these headlights.... Good luck with it all....
  13. There is no mention of GTST's in the first post, ponyboy is looking at buying a 1996 R33 GTR VSPEC. I'm very aware series 2 headlights on GTST's are different than series 1, I had a series 2 GTST ten years ago... The zenon headlights on R33 GTR's first appeared in 1997, but are more common on 1998 models which are known as series 3's. My car is a series 1 (95 model), I replaced the standard headlights with the zenons about 4 years ago. To fit them I removed the front bar, removed the original headlights, and bolted the zenons straight on. The only difference is the plug on the zenons has a small tab on both sides which stopped it from connecting to the original headlight loom. So out came the file and 5 minutes later the zenons were plugged in and working a treat. In saying this the zenons aren't cheap. Expect to pay around $1400 EACH from Nissan... This is what the zenons look like on my car.... Hope that helps....
  14. WOW, what an awesome build. Looks like its going to be serious track car. Credit to you and your workmanship... Can't wait to start mine now....
  15. Series 1 anf 2 GTR headlights are the same. Series 3 headlights will bolt up to a series 1 GTR, the wiring plug will have a lug that needs to be filed off to plug into a series 1 loom. Very easy to fit and everything works as it should....
  16. Is there 2 different cars plotted on these graphs? I see the NUR is making around 320awkws and the R34 GTR is making 358awkws. So assuming your car is the red line who's is the blue line? And what happened to the rest of the graph? Speed or RPM would have been nice to see...
  17. Apparently the car lasted 2 runs down the quarter. Not sure what the time was for the first run but on the second run the engine disassembled itself throwing its guts out on the track. Damage was catastrophical, maybe turborxp can tell us more...
  18. mmm, ok, thats why your the brake king!!!!! Im pretty sure they are mounted in the leading position, not trailing, so shouldn't that be the same as the skyline??? Oh well, will have to get them sorted. I'm assuming they are symmetrical, so each end is identical??? Either way the price I got them for I couldn't resist....
  19. Got them off Britek Motorsport who had the calipers advertised on ebay. They were off Jason Brights V8 supercar, last years car... The rotors are genuine Alcon 378mm x 36mm front, 343mm x 36mm rear. Pads are PFC 30mm fronts, Pagids 30mm rears. Now how about we organise a group buy on the hats and adaptors to suit our cars???
  20. Ok here they are... Couldn't help my self when I saw this package....
