  1. Awesome work Duncan, congrats on the first place wins. What sort of power is your car running? What tyres are you using?
  2. Any of the female actors need an escort?
  3. I seriously don't see any point in comparing dyno figures using different dynos, different operators on different days. POINTLESS. Oh, and dirt, comparing your car to Ben's?? you know his is in a different league.... Back on topic....
  4. Tuff car with plenty of power and tasteful mods.. Good luck with the sale Peter...
  5. Troy, got mine through revolution racegear, about $120 from memory....
  6. What a great read!! Came up really well... I did the same thing 3 months ago, although mine is a fibreglass/carbon bonnet, so would have been easier to cut. They work so well and look much cleaner than the old bonnet pin style.. Here's my finished result... Was going to get my panel beater to paint them silver but he advised not to, paint might not stick properly and would most likely peel off from constant use... Either way they're not as noticeable as the old bonnet pins, especially since it gets driven on the street...
  7. Would have to be the ultimate street registered circuit car in the country, drives and sounds standard with 450rwkws... Check out the specs of the engine in this thread.. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Rb...ow-t206406.html Way too cheap....
  8. CEVA logistics, they transport show cars for Autosalon and also do race cars. They have a few race transporters so low cars are not an issue....
  9. It doesn't belong to Ben, he sold it to a customer over a year now, but the current owner needs to get rid of it. I've posted it in here hoping someone in Melb buys it so we can still see it every now and then....
  10. For those who are not familiar with this car it would have to one of the best R33 GT-R's in the world. The power, handling and braking of this car is out of this world, and believe it or not it's registered and looks stock under the bonnet. Check out the link... http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Ra...le-t257548.html If only I wasn't building a house at the moment.... Whoever buys this car is getting the bargain of the century... So, who's putting their hand up for it????
  11. Spencer panels is a multi million dollar setup, some of the best work comes out of there. Hey Hamish, did Mark or Peter tow the car???
  12. Don't laugh, the guy who owns the vl also owns the black r35 aswell...
  13. The only three registered R35's in Vic at one place.. Nissan Aus would be proud...
  14. Oh no, here we go again....
  15. Yeah jumping in the black r35GTR was the worst thing i could've done... Now I have to come up with 170k to buy one...
  16. Two.06l?? Looks like a 2.06 litre... Stroked RB20???
  17. With standard turbos at 15psi and standard ecu the best i got was 12.0 at 115mph (R33GT-R with 265/35/18 Hankooks). Power was around 250rwkws... So, R33GTRkid, there's not too much wrong with your time, it maybe a little slower than expected but ain't the end of the world. Different people in different cars at different tracks get different times.... Sounds confusing.... but, such is life...
  18. According to natsoft you did a 1:21.2... http://www.natsoft.com.au/cgi-bin/results....07/2008.ORAN.SL Roy, I say you'd be doing the same times as DRIFTER or maybe quicker with re55's, providing you stay on the black stuff....
  19. Yep, have had both, and the -5's were more responsive, a lot more.... 517's made good peak power though. Congrats on the buy, you got yourself a very clean and nicely modded GT-R... Speak to Ben, he will tell you if it's worth changing turbos or not....
  20. Out of curiosity what's the best times you've done in both cars Neil???
  21. If I was too scared to drive my car I'd choose you. If you can drive that death machine in your avatar a GT-R would be a piece of cake....
  22. At last!!! Someone coming out with some constructive comments instead of a marketing ploy to bag out the powerfc and brag about how much better the vipec is. Thanks Daniel for clearing that up... Just to set the record straight I did not claim anywhere in my posts that the vipec is crap, in fact its very similar to the Autronic and at a much cheaper price, so if it's all the extra features you need then you would be stupid not to buy it. I just can't understand how people can bag the powerfc and claim that it doesn't run as good or as smooth as the vipec. Obviously the vipec is not so much a plug'n'play ecu as the powerfc is, which is what I was referring to but no one wanted to admit it... Anyway Daniel said it best, the powerfc does everything i want it to so why would i change it???
  23. mmm, never came across this misfire problem down here in Melb, must be the air.... still waiting for answers to my question...
  24. I'm tempted, need new tyres and starting the new house in 2 weeks... Bummer...
