  1. Post em up!!!! White is closer to silver than purple or black....
  2. Cheers for the comments guys!!! GT-R32 - Been looking for one of those Nismo N1 carbon fibre double wing bladed wing for ages, still no luck Thinking of going Ganador mirrors in carbon aswell... Here's a few more pics.. Would love a Z-TUNE but this is as good as it gets for me....
  3. They're long gone, I've had the 2560R's for over 2 years now....
  4. One of my turbos decided to call it a day...
  5. You didn't miss out on much, I only did 1 lap... Oh well it was good for 3rd place in the club championship....
  6. Yep, that grey R32 GTR did a 1:19.2 at Sandown last WRX round, and it went into the 60's today... I hate NA GTR's....
  7. I'm pumped!! Who is willing to start a thread in the NSW events section to stir them up and let them know we're coming to own them??? I checked to see if there was a thread but couldn't find anything, and I'm sure last year there was a SAU VIC vs SAU NSW talk up thread... I reckon we get Troy to start the thread, after all he belongs there doesn't he??? Be good to meet some of the NSW crew....
  8. Hey guys, SAU VIC is coming to NSW on 8 Nov at Wakefield and 9 Nov at EC, so i suggest you go to one of these track days to have some fun and meet some of the SAU crew.. There's a thread in the VIC section: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/t176741.html Come down, it will be worth your while, there will be atleast 5 cars doing sub 1:07's at Wakie!!!
  9. Oh dear... What's wrong with the current setup?? Installing a motec will devalue the car.... Don't forget there are only 20 of these in existence... I've had the pleasure of seeing this car in the flesh at Racepace, and always hoped that the lucky bastard that buys it keeps it the way it is without raping it. I'm shattered.... My numbers still haven't come up so I guess I missed the boat..
  10. Am I missing something here?? Did you buy a GTR??
  11. Correct Alan, its called a wheel lift.. Although these days 99% of the trucks are tilt trays, so you shouldn't have this problem.. As far as getting lowered imports with bodykits, well that's a different story!!! In my opinion RACV membership is handy for when you get a flat tyre and can't be assed changing it, flat battery and also when you lock your keys in your car. If you own a car that is quite low and/or has an aftermarket bodykit, there may be issues. Have heard of too many ugly stories...
  12. I think you'll find that not many (more likely no-one) will donate their GTR to get stripped of necessary parts needed for complying your car then put back together... Maybe you should state which necessary parts are needed to comply your car, rather than someone hand over their whole car to make up for your importer's inspection skills....
  13. Good to hear Andrew, no doubt I will get THE CALL anyday now.... Be good to see about 10 cars doing sub 1:50's on the day... Can't wait...
  14. No worries Al, bring a helmet..
  15. I'm there!!!! Can't wait... Hope the weather is good....
  16. Awesome times there Marlin, sounds like the car (and driver) are very sorted.... Great stuff....
  17. I told you, he IS THE MASTER!!!!
  18. Cheers Rod!!!! It was in excellent condition when I bought it, so I've tried to keep it that way, although now there are a few battle scars from taking it to the track.. I will paint the front end at the end of the year to freshen it up again... As far as products...eerrr.... turtle wax?? I think??? Haven't had it professionally deatiled before, so will look into it after the last track day in Nov... Didn't know you did detailing for a living??? Do you work in town or out in the bush??? (Sorry for being off-topic!! *hides from Ash*)
  19. Went on Sunday to get the car washed, Damian has an awseome setup there and the service is fantastic.. Will be booking in a detail very soon!!!!
  20. Correct, although not sure on what piston diameter the Alcons run.. Roy (the brake expert!!!) reckons they have a larger piston diameter than the AP CP5555 calipers... I don't have concrete evidence...
  21. Definetly!!! 17's will not accomodate for 355mm rotors, and if they do there will be fark all clearance between the rim and the caliper. Also 18's you will be able to go wider aswell, and run atleast a 265 wide tyre = more grip....
  22. I can't think of anyone that just runs the AP CP5555s on the front, actually STOCKGTR (Nick) on these forums runs AP fronts with standard rears, although he hasn't been on the track for a while, maybe shoot him a PM for his opinion... Will be good to see your car out on the track!!!!
  23. I bought mine through Unique Autosports, was about $8.4k for the whole kit, so 5k for the fronts sounds about right... Check here: http://www.nismo.com.au/pricelists/pricelist_gtrbrakes.htm Although the kit comes with Ferodo DS2500 pads for the front, if you ask nicely I'm sure John at UAS will chuck in the Ferodo DS3000's instead.... DS2500 are good for the street, but with your car you'll need the DS3000's.... And here's a pic of the brake kit on the car...
  24. Maccattack - I have the Alcon kit front and rear, awesome stopping power with no fade whatsoever.. I also run the Nismo brake ducts... Highly recommend it.... I'm actually quite surprised your getting more than 2 laps with the power output of your car.... Scotsman on these forums has around 340rwkw with standard Brembo calipers DBA 5000 rotors and the brakes are cactus after 2 hot laps at Sandown...
