  1. The deal is that they are fully prepped race cars, the kind that cost a lot of money and go really really really fast on a race track....
  2. I have the Nismo deflectors on my car, and Nismo list them as fitting all GTR's... They are made of plastic and bolt up perfectly, basically bolts up to the castor rod...
  3. Fark me, check out the understeer on the Enzo... More neg camber needed....
  4. PI track, great weather, what else can you ask for??? Was a recipe for fast times with the conditions, and there was a variety of cars in attendance, from street cars to full race cars, from Corona's to Porsche Turbo's it was there.... I guess it was a mixed bag of high's and low's regarding the SAU boys. Bad luck to Snowy and Anthony (Italiazr1), I guess Snowy was lucky to drive his car home where I think Anthony didn't get to do 1 lap.. And also to Matt (GTTR34) for intercooler pipe clamp issues, I'd like to see what the car can do with the new setup, CHEATER!!! Well done to the Andrew's (BBGTR & Ferni), dipping into the 1:51's is certainly going quick and both PB's, I told you Ferni to BELIEVE in the car!!!!! You smashed your PB by 6 seconds!!!! Huge congrats to Brisby, all that heartache and pain($ ) during the week to get the car to the track has definetly reaped its rewards, a PB of 1:52.000 is absolutely flying, long live the RB20!!!!! Another 1000th of a second and your in the 51's.... NOT BAD AT ALL!!!! Also a worthy mention is Gareth, do you not fear for your life??? 1:52.2 on STREET TYRES!!! Dude, I'd like to see what you can do with semis.... And also congrats to the rest of the SAU boys that were there, Ant, your car looks tough!!!! Big thanks must go to Aaron, for showing me the light, following him around really opened my eyes to what my car is capable of, the grip levels are phenomenal, especially on the fast corners, it was a matter of staying on the gas, turn the wheel and believe in the car. Scary but awesome feeling at the same time. I managed to beat my PB by 3 seconds... That was my high, but unfortunately there was a low.. Stretching out 4th on the straight on the first lap in the last session of the day, I went into fifth a little too quickly, and then, there was nothing. The car was free revving like it was in nuetral, went back into 4th and it was fine. Decided to stay out there as the rest of the gears were perfect, and managed a 1:49 with 4 gears. So it looks like I need another gearbox or see if the boys at Racepace can repair/change 5th gear synchro... And last but not least big thanks to Bec and Chris for marshalling duties, and West and other SAU members with flagging, did a great job out there and without people like you days like these wouldn't run as smoothly.. OK that's enough from me, I'll upload some video footage later....
  5. Are they a bottom or side mount seat?? Either way RMS Motorparts in Mitcham stock Bride seat rails for R33's. Check out www.rmsmotorparts.com.au for details...
  6. I'm 6'5'' and drive an R33GTR, stock GTR seats are slightly better, but driving position is still not ideal, I have changed my seat to a racing bucket with a low seat rail, and have mounted the seat as far back to make more leg room, but also got a spacer and quick release for momo steering wheel with boss to bring it closer to me, and I can also take the steering wheel off to make it much easier getting in and out of the car.. Driving position is now perfect, although its costed about $2k to get it right... Oh, and it is a track car aswell so needed the perfect seating position... Hope that helps...
  7. Nothing short of BRILLIANT... You certainly didn't leave anything out... I can also see the hole in your pocket from here...
  8. So does this mean Stace will do a 9????
  9. Not sure he's gonna make it, he needed to sort out his rear brakes, its touch and go whether he'll make it, I'd like to see the 1:43's aswell!!! I should be good for the meeting point aswell... Let's just hope the weather will hold out, not looking promising at this stage....
  10. OK Troy, so why is the cat stopping you from going to PI???
  11. Was a tops day!!! Saw some serious piece of machinery!!!! Was great watching the 10 lap race in the Intermarque challenge, George Vidovic is a good friend of mine and certainly put on a show. Especially how close it was with the porsche (993)GT3 cup car, it was better under brakes and cornering but the Python Cobra (orange car) certainly had the horses to overtake it on the straights, they changed positions about 20 times in the 10 lap race... Ended up beating him by 0.02sec, PHOTO FINISH!!! Nice pics Matt....
  12. Well what a great day!!!! Arrived at about 1:30pm and couldn't believe how many people/cars that were there.. Really great turnout.. Big thanks to the SAU committee for running a very smooth and trouble free day, and more importantly to Ray and his boys, they went through 40 odd cars on the dyno, very quick and efficient... Thumbs up to RE Customs!!!!
  13. Tunnel is still closed, best way is to get off at power street, turn right onto city rd, follow the road over the bridge and back onto the freeway...
  14. OK, put me down for a run, will be after lunch though, probably about 2pm.... Oh, by the way, in the car not the truck....
  15. I'm just too predictable!!!! You racing the Liberty???
  16. THERE'S ONLY ROOM FOR 1 STIG IN THIS CLUB... NOW PISS OFF!!!! Welcome to SAU, enjoy your stay....
  17. Very FAT indeed, 285 RE55S's???

  20. How long have you had these plates??
  21. Holy crap, you back in town Ant??? Be good to see another GTR ripping it up on the track!! Street tyres as usual?? Faxed and ready to rock!!!!!
