  2. I think you'll find that 34N1's are similar to GT-SS's, and would comfortably make 300rwkw on 20 psi, I doubt it very much they'll reach 330rwkws unless your running cams, big boost and good fuel or do a run in shoot-out . Take into consideration each dyno is different, but going by what Ben tells me they're rediculously responsive down low but do suffer a bit up top.

  12. Al, it wasn't as huge as other events, nevertheless it was good to catch up with the everybody over a snag and drink... Weather was great too, I'm bloody burnt..... There were a lot of regular members who didn't attend, Scotsman, inark, funkey, and yourself... weaksauce!!!!
  13. Don't bother, I've seen it in a car yard for 60k, claims its an original r33N1 with 3 litre bottom end, besides 320k speedo and porsche front brakes, its quite standard, oh and also has those ugly simmons wheels aswell....
  14. Hey Blitz did you have to chop/modify the front bar to fit the cooler, 136mm is quite big!!!
  15. Have u got R33 GTR Top Secret front bar???
  16. Sure was, check out this thread http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...opic=78364&st=0
  17. The T517Z's were an awesome turbo as far as producing power, not too much lag about 4800rpm full boost (1.4bar) in fourth gear. It was the way these turbos hit boost that I was concerned with, especially for a circuit car. I found that boost would build slowly and then all of a sudden it was on, where as I'm assuming the Garrets (being ball bearing) will build boost more linearly. It probably won't push you back in the seat as much as before, but with boost building a little earlier and more linear it would be more suited to the track as the car won't try and spin you around when coming out of a corner coz of the way it hits boost so hard. My car will be on the road in 2 weeks, so I'll post up a graph for comparison. Cheers

  19. Nice pics Dane, surprised I didn't see you there... You must have been there when I left to have some lunch...
  20. Yes I have indeed!!! Can't wait to see the results!!! Looking at doing something with the manifolds aswell.....
  21. Beer Baron - the merged pipe is 80mm in diameter (just over 3'')...
  22. Duncan, your right, the proper way to drag it onto the truck is to use what they call 'ambulance wheels', but only panel shops have usually got them... I don't have them coz they are big and bulky which means I can't store them anywhere on the track and the main reason being I hardly ever need them... dark, palletts usually work but sometimes get caught on the end of the tray when dragging the car up, resulting in the car sliding onto the tray and the crate staying on the ground. Once you get it over the little lip on the tray it's all good, although getting it off at the other end can be a problem aswell....
  23. Hey dark, Towing body shells is no issue for me, as long as you and the buyer don't mind the underbody of the car getting scratched from dragging onto the truck and sliding it off at the other end. Mind you it doesn't actually do any structural harm to the underbody... Call me when you ready to discuss this further 0419877437.. Cheers
  24. Well as soon as I got there it started pelting down, did I bring the bad weather??? Oh well, lucky I brought the truck down, very unfortunate what happened to the silver GTT......
