Well what can I say, a day full of excitement and dissapointment, it just wasn't my day... After 5 attempts the intercooler piping was just not holding full boost in fourth gear, resulting in 1 complete timed lap of 1:29.... I wanted to leave at the end of the day with a sub 1:30, so I guess that's something to be proud of... Full congrats to Roy, stepped up to the challenge and delivered the goods... WELL DONE TROY!!!! Hopefully next outing at Sandown I'll be able to match the time.... Gareth (Rowdy R32), brings a tear to the eye seeing your car after the crash, you walked away unscathed so I guess that's all that matters..... Snowy, good to see you improved on your previous time... I must give out a big thank you to Andrew (ferni) and Denton (DentonR33??) for their help in trying to sort out the intercooler piping issue, Cheers guys, really appreciate it!!! And to all the rest of the SAU clan, good to see you all out there supporting us TEAM WANGERS!!!! Looking forward to the next one!!!

Denham, I picked up 2 drums of fuel from Ash, 1 for me and the other for u and Troy... I'll be there at 8:30am....

Hey Pete, might want to talk to Ben (Racepace), see if he's done any other rb25's with upgraded cams and standard turbo..... u never know!!!!

Just coz Ben didn't work on Group 'A' cars 15 years ago doesn't mean he's not good at what he does!!! I don't see Eric punting his GTR around Sandown in 1:15, mind you driving the car to and from the track.... or hang on a sec, does he even own one??? Who cares.... My understanding why people don't go to Hypertech is coz they don't have a small fortune to spend on their cars, and are not part of some race team with big sponsorship... I'm not saying that Hypertech are bad at what they do but I can definetly tell you that some of their customers have ended up at Racepace, and have never looked back... All I can say is that if your asking people on these forums what experiences they've had with Hypertech, you won't get many answers....

So what exactly are you asking for??? You've been to Racepace and still asking questions on which shop to take your car to?? I'm confused....

Full boost by 4250 rpm with 2540's???? Have you got a dyno graph to prove this?? Yet later in the post you say you get max HP spread from 5500 - 8500rpm??? I'm confused... Also forged internals will not help you with response, its just stronger!!! From talking to hundreds of people, 2540's are very laggy on a 2.6, and the response could well be non existant!!!!

Great to hear Brett!!!! There must have been something wrong to produce so much more power?!?! Also its rear wheel kilowatts!!!! Does the car feel better on the road??

Interesting question this, was trying to apply this theory to two.60l's thread where she made 466 rwkws in shoutout (8) mode, but when asked to provide a graph in non shootout mode the reply was "there's no difference".. WTF?? Anyway as an example my car made 335rwkws (Racepace dyno dynamics), and then backed up with 360rwkws in shootout mode!!!! Haven't got a printout of the 360rwkw (shootout mode) run, so sorry can't compare temp readings... Although next week i'm getting poncams installed and a retune so I'll get Ben to do a run in shootout mode aswell as normal mode... STAY TUNED!!!

Don't bother with importing one from Japan, it will cost you $500 to bring it over (excluding price of the bar)... I know coz I've tried....
