  1. Have u got a dyno graph showing power and boost pressure???
  2. MidnightGTR - as a word of advice don't change the BOV's, they never leak and many guys are running big power (800hp+) with no probs.... It might be a long shot but check ur intake manifold gasket for leaks.....
  3. 1.3 bar at 3500rpm???? WTF??? Are you running an RB 30/ OS 3 litre???? Stock turbos get full boost at about 3500rpm, surely GTSS's won't?!?!?!
  4. Yeah denham, haven't been yet so I'm hanging hard!!!!!
  5. Fair enough, looks like I'll be the only team wanger out there....
  6. Damn!!!! Spewing I missed this one, but it was the miss' birthday on Saturday.... Definetly coming to the next one!! Must say bad luck to Archie, I've been in the exact same position, even at the same track!!! Oh well, let Ben freshen up the motor and it will last forever!!! Also congrats on the time, looks like u were doing really well!!!!!
  7. What do ya reckon Roy, Snowy???? Let's do it!!!!!
  8. Gareth - be more than happy to tow your car from the docks, my no. is 0419877437.. When you go down to Patrick's make sure you have: - Delivery order/ Shipping consignment note - Import approval - Quarantine release (if it passes quarantine then you can tow it home, if it doesn't then it gets towed to somewhere to get it steam cleaned/ remove quarantine risk material...) Make sure you have this paperwork otherwise you'll be going there for nothing!!! They're really strict and pricks about it if you don't have the required paperwork... By the way what car is it???
  9. I've towed heaps of R32 GTST's, and I must say this would have been the most cleanest, best looking one to come off the boat... Great car, just be careful Troy....
  10. Watch it Troy!!! actually I'll take that as a compliment....
  11. Andrew - looks like I missed out on this session, spewing hard!!!! Oh well u snooze u lose!!!! If you can bring em down on Sunday that will be great, I'm bringing the truck 'just in case' something goes wrong with other cars there...
  12. Thanx anyway mate... Yeah will come down and have a look anyway....
  13. I want to come to this aswell, Ronin9 can u wave some magic???
  14. Must of backed off with that kind of power, I got an 11.6 @119mph with around 300rwkws
  15. What sort of power u running when u ran this time??
  16. Robin - I'd allow more than that, mine was around $5k from memory, without ecu..... As far as tow no probs, just let me know when you need it moved and give me a call on 0419877437.... Might want to check with Ben first when he can accept the car.... Cheers
  17. Geoff's right on the money!!!! I was working on a budget with my rebuild and Ben recommended modifying the relief valve, and now she flows like an N1 oil pump!!!!
  18. I thought Arias pistons were $1200 from Rocket Industries aswell, until I ordered them... they added GST ($120) and delivery ($30) = $1350....
  19. Sorry to hear Robin, although by the amount of blow by it had on the PI trackday, it was evident that the motor was a bit tired, that's how mine was before I took it to Ben... One thing for sure is that you will walk away a happy man once you pick up ur car from Ben's.... In my opinion. definetly get forged pistons, Ben recomended Arias 86.5mm for me which from memory were about $1350, mind you I was on a budget, the Tomei forged pistons are around $2k from memory... Also change your headgasket to a metal one, I got 1.0mm Tomei... Obviously you'll get the block machined and honed to suit pistons, and obviously new bearings... Oil & water pumps can be upgraded to N1 items (recommended), unless you got the moola to fork out for a JUN oil pump... Depending on budget and power goals, u could get some headwork and aftermarket cams... but then you ask yourself where do you stop??? This should give you a brief indication on what to consider with the rebuild, either way you'll have an indestructable fresh engine..... I was gonna offer you good luck but you won't need it since Ben's doing the job!!!! Cheers, sorry for long post
  20. Guys, I've bought a set of wheels off this guy before, spoken to him on the phone and seems like a very reasonable and honest bloke... So give him a break and unless your interested in what his selling, keep your irrelevant comments to yourself!!!!
  21. Aaron - No probs about moving your car around, if you need it done again I'm only a phone call away!!! And to be honest I'm not sure what's more impressive, you reeling of a 1:50 on your first day out with the GTR, or Frank doing a blistering 1:45 to break the club record.... You should be stoked with that time and it will only get better!!! I say watch out Snowy and Frank!!!!!
  22. Yeah Andrew, was quite happy with the times being my first time, although I know I can go quicker, especially if I take the first bend a bit faster.... Had an absolute ball!!!! This track is one of the best I've been on, so smooth and very easy to learn on. Was actually a bit nervous at the start of the day coz of the 'stories' people telling me about the track, but after the second session, my confidence grew aswell as those 'things' hanging between my legs and went from a 2:12 (practice session) to a 1:58.... Can't wait for the next one!!!!! P.S Snowy, those rims/tyres of mine still in one piece??? :headspin:
