  1. MsG Chris, We live in Nowra but, my Wife especially, spends a fair bit of time around Dapto, Oak Flats, Shellharbour visiting family etc. El Bee
  2. Paid today $290 for one car two drivers, and PM sent etc. Should have tossed the standard ECU by this day. Enjoy! El Bee
  3. F aaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrk. Paid already! I'll have to get the missus to pay on Monday then. El Bee
  4. A fine job two40, we must have been fairly close to you doing that fine camera work. You can taste the rubber in that video. Again, well done! El Bee
  5. I would say at least 8 with me and Genelle in. Maybe more. El Bee
  6. I have seen an R32 with this feature and I am sure it was a factory option. I do seem to recall some R31's with this as well but I cannot remember where I heard/read it. El Bee
  7. Have just noticed a checkbox that asks if you want to save a copy in "Sent Messages". Have sent a test message to Abobob with this box checked and it now looks as though it was sent (awaiting reply). Can I default this to be ticked ? As I have stated above I regularly clean out the PM's and only keep a handful, so space is not a problem for me. El Bee
  8. Gday guys, As above, cannot send PM's. I have only a handful of messages shown in Inbox and Sent Items. Have received a PM re group buy but cannot reply. El Bee ps. Will try sending PM to someone else and advise if any different.
  9. Have changed mine OK. Just wondering why my default is RB25DE, and others have similar eg RB20DE etc etc. Thinking that if/when next change occurs that the existing ones should be migrated across, or just a common one saying something like "No Personal Member Title selected" as a prompt to all to change their own. All the best. El Bee
  10. Yeah mine defaults to RB25DE whenever things change for some reason. You can change it in your profile. It is blankand towards the top. Can't remember exactly the heading. I think it was description or title or something similar. El Bee
  11. Gday Paul, Have tried sending PM twice today. $940 paid this morning. Please PM me to either confirm receipt of my PM(s), or allow me to try and reply. Still not sure about this new forum setup. El Bee
  12. Well we prepaid early ($110) for 3 days cruising Eastern Creek track, camping, and spectating. Thoroughly enjoyed the weekend, although I didn't do much driving. The Missus had been in hospital and got a drain tube out on Friday morning. By Friday afternoon she was hooning around the track. Funniest thing was when we were lined up ready to go out (waiting) and Genelle was driving and had her fav CD playing. Of course "Nobody Likes A Bogun" came on and I just kept smiling and nodding to all and sundry. Got some in-car footage as well. And our Son and his mates had their cars out as well. Great fun having a look see around Eastern Creek track. El Bee ps It was cold overnight... Bloody cold, but you get that in the middle of Winter in Western Sydney.
  13. Nice pics Merli, Thank you for including the Green R33. Not a star on the day, but ran honestly for 30 runs before the drive home. My son managed a 14.0 (while driving in his steel capped work boots!). Oh well, a brain transplant is happening in the near future. Then new ECU will not have kittens with the boost that the highflow is throwing at it. Enjoy! El Bee
  14. OK. Whatever. They won't kill the engine, just make the alternator (and therefore the engine) work a fraction harder. May also lower the temperature more than optimum and not allow it to warm up as quickly. El Bee
  15. Just as blind_elk said, that it really defeats the purpose and puts drag on the enging when it is unnecessary. As per someonestolecc, my mechanic set it I think at that 80-85 range and used the consult port to check everything. The fan(s) will switch on when it needs to. The mechanic did add another overide switch for me to have it run constantly when, and if, I want it to. El Bee
  16. This is what I had done recently. Hooked to a thermostat in the cooling system. Definately no overheating issues. Hardly ever needs to come on in this weather. Will have to see how it goes in Summer in traffic. El Bee
  17. Doubt the BOV theory if you are talking idle from start etc. AAC does seem a possibility. El Bee
  18. It is a common belief that most, if not all, odometers are wound back either here or over there. I believe it was done to mine. Thing is, I also believe that the engines are tough and the drive train can take it. Just check the condition of everything and try not to judge by odometer alone. Mate, if the 45 thou is genuine you have no need to worry (even if it had a coupla hundred thousand in front of it. Go by the condition and service it regularly. El Bee
  19. It most definately will not blow after 100,000km unless you mistreat it (mainly by not doing regular servicing). I reckon our odometer was probably fiddled with somewhere and that is why we got the dealer to do the belts etc, after the odometer was only working intermittently while driving it home. El Bee
  20. Gday Paul, yes it is amazing what they do remember. My Wife is the oricle of all things memory, especially to do with our Skyline, in this household. The good thing is she does know "shit from clay" as they say. I'll see you Sunday. Unfortunately Genelle won't make it this year. Enjoy! El Bee ps. Increasing boost does increase power for sure but you can go too far and easily get into the "rich and retard zone" with the stock ECU. Have done this before. And last time on a dyno the guy turned the boost down from 14 to 10 and got rid of an ugly dip in power where the ECU was having kittens. Will have to get an aftermarket ECU very soon. (not before drag day unfortunately)
  21. Gday Paul, Reckon it is time for a PFC. R33 GTSt Series 1. PM sent. Enjoy! El Bee
  22. OK. I have been corrected by my Wife. When we got 148kw it was with the stock exhaust. We did have the panel filter and more boost. It was on a dyno day using shootout mode on a dyno dynamics. El Bee
  23. Nabil, Now you have jogged the memory a bit (getting old you see). The exhaust was custom from dump pipe back and I think we had the bleed valve then at about 10 pounds. El Bee *edit* No exhaust as posted below
  24. I think our first result was 148kw with with aftermarket panel filter and 3 inch exhaust. The 120-130 ish does seem about it standard. El Bee *edit* No exhaust as posted below
