  1. Gday all, I have made this post in the wanted section as well, but my Daughter and her Fiance are looking for a Nissan after witnessing our R33 GTSt and our son's R31 in action. Would like to know what is available Sydney to South Coast for this price range. I don't think they want to buy mines_datsun's GTR by the way. :ak47: Enjoy El Bee
  2. Gday all, My Daughter and her Fiance are interested in a car from the Nissan family, after witnessing our R33 GTSt and our Son's R31 in action. Sooooooooo.. please advise of any cars for this figure going for sale. Note NSW, Sydney to South Coast preferred. BTW we are talking cash. Ching Ching. Thanks in advance. El Bee
  3. OK Seems that this question has been answered. I have a question, has anyone got he full colour codes for an R33 ? I have an Ice Green Skyline and I have swapped notes with Belgarion who has one in QLD, but I would like some concrete proof. Thanks in advance El Bee
  4. My R33 also has a clunk..clunk for a few secs after switching aircon on. The really weird thing though is that it starts first time, run smooth as silk, goes like a beauty with power, boost and AFR fine after driving it for 40 thousand Kms. This is WITHOUT..... a FMIC, aftermarket ECU or BOV, new and gapped plugs, pod filter, milo tin exhaust, adjustable cam gears, wings, body kits and stickers. Hey is this flame suit made with asbestos ? I hope not. :flamed: Enjoy El Bee
  5. I think it is frightening how many people don't have insurance with Skylines. I can understand that the prices are enormous for the younger of us, but insurance is one of the costs that you must consider BEFORE buying a turbo import. Sorry. El Bee
  6. Here is an original scan. El Bee
  7. Got sent a calendar from a Real Estate mob today that was all fridge magnet... as big as my hand (fingers extended). Must be worth 200 bucks easy. Enjoy El Bee
  8. Wow !! You are about to own a Skyline R33 GTSt and you think that you are gonna be owned wherever you go ?? I don't believe it ! The only thing that you have to worry about is keeping traction with any decent R33 (and I don't believe that there are any indecent ones out there). What I would have given to have a vehicle that was head and shoulders above nearly anything else on the road when I was your age. Come on, Turbo 2.5l DOHC 6 cyl with 4WS is going to be beaten by ? .............. El Bee
  9. Hey predator & all I don't know a great deal about "jacking the line" but I do change the oil every 5,000k. A hint for those with car ramps that don't fit under the front bar is....... to turn your wheels fully in one direction, place a ramp under the wheel that is pointing out (eg left wheel if steering left) and drive up onto this ramp. You now have enough room to do your oil change. Simple but effective. Enjoy El Bee
  10. Hey all Live in Nowra and will probably hook up at Kangaroo Valley, just before the Hampton Bridge (the big one way job that was made for photos and postcards). It is a great run along the Cambewarra Mountain Rd to Nowra. Will be in one of the Ice Green R33s that you see around the valley. I predict the weather is gonna be very nice for you Northerners that were wondering. Enjoy El Bee
  11. Birnie. Having trouble with attaching a 98K file. Let me know if you want e-mail or wait till site fixed etc. El Bee
  12. Hey Guys As I said on a thread I started to do with this, I was wrong with the 4 stud bit. The angle of the shot had me convinced, but in the cold light of day (sober) it is 5 stud. Hopefully this will put that to rest. This was me last night :looney: So I take it all back. Except the bit where I said it was rubbish. And the fact that it must have spent 12 months in a dam. Enjoy. El Bee
  13. Oh well Looks like I'll have to throw a coupla bucks in the idiot jar again. Looks can be deceiving. Case closed eh?
  14. OK, I am a little peeved with some comments regarding this pic that was originally posted as part of a thread entitled "Is this worth buying" posted in the VIC section. How many studs do you see. OK, I see three as well. Question is.... How many studs can be on this wheel? Note: This wheel supposedly belongs to an R32 GTR. I cannot believe that this is a pic of a 5 stud pattern. Please tell me if I am wrong. El Bee
  15. Cannot believe anyone would think that this photo shows a 5 stud pattern. Someone else please have a good look.
  16. Have a look at the pic of the wheel. I don't think you could fit 2 studs into the area not seen by the camera. That wheel has 4 studs, not 5. I don't care what anyone says. Any vehicle can have an RB26 put into it and have as many badges as you like. Don't think that anyone is gonna put 4 stud setup on an original GTR. El Bee
  17. It aint a GTR
  18. Has anyone had a good look at the wheels as per my previous post. To my knowledge 4 studs = Normally Aspirated. Any comments ? El Bee
  19. Arggggggggh Tim the Toolman would be proud of you.
  20. It's an "R" spec. R = Rust
  21. On 2nd thought look at the rotor and the wheel nuts. Looks like it has been in a dam for 12 months. Don't go there Eric. El Bee
  22. The blurb says that it is not OK to register as is. Why is it so? My wife pointed out the wheels, and they appear to have only 4 studs????????????? Could be a NA with an RB26 transplant and a nice "R" badge. All in all. Does not look good but for parts only. It's rubbish. El Bee & Humbla
  23. Have to agree with ECL27 & Bully Meguires Scratch X is good schtuff for light scratching and waxing is the way to go. Butt... I have not had to try to get rid of a scratch made by an idiot with some sharp object. Good luck El Bee
  24. Adrian Great to be there on your fantastic day. The wedding party Skylines looked awesome. Enjoy! Laurie & Genelle (who took ages to say a word, and then I couldn't shut her up when it was way past beer o'clock)
  25. Hey Mitchy Looks tidy. Standard dealer warranty was my friend, as on the way home the odometer started working intermittently. Took it back with 68000kms showing and got them to fix it. I also got them to do timing belt and other stuff as I said you could not trust that figure. You will pay more from a dealer, no doubt. Sounds like the haggling is over with. Enjoy your R32 El Bee
