  1. Here are pics of Headlights. El Bee OK. I am not the greatest photographer with the greatest camera but this gives an idea. Can be viewed drag day for the Sydneysiders.
  2. Yes. I noticed this after the last big change. I really think that this should default to save. El Bee
  3. PM on its way. Would prefer local, but can organise something. Will discuss. El Bee
  4. Gday, Thanks for your offer. All offers considered. Send PM re where you are at for postage or meetup etc. El Bee
  5. For Sale. R33GTSt Series 1 Headlights. Have bought 4 door lights and have no further use for these. Good condition, nice and clear. As good as they get for Series 1. Price $150 each or both for $250 ono. Would prefer pickup or COD. Will be at NSW WSID drag day 5 Nov 2005. Items will be available to show then, or other as required. Also Turbosmart bleed valve $40 ono. Let me know. El Bee
  6. Gday Mitch, The pink ribbon is well and truly under control. You can choose from the girly pink that Genelle bought, or the fluro pink that we use as markers. Enjoy! El Bee
  7. If you just want to get a bit of clearance for inspection or what ever, try what I do when changing my oil. Turn your steering wheel full lock and put one car ramp in front of the wheel pointing out. Drive up onto this single ramp. Works for me. El Bee
  8. Good to hear man. I am in the same boat. May be able to compare notes on the day. Enjoy! El Bee
  9. Just VL's. Owned a VL until it was written off, went to a better package with the same engine (R31), then to the R33. It surprises me that more VL owners didn't see that their success was due to the RB30 and "saw the light" as I did. El Bee
  10. 10,000cc injectors. Too easy. El Bee
  11. Gday BL01, Before the "Fuel changes" I was getting in the 10s/100kms. Now it is in the 11s. Still, the extra power has to come from somewhere. B) Our driving is a mixture of Provincial Town and Highway so we don't use as much as the city folk thankfully. El Bee
  12. Are you after totals such as total number of GTR's in 1992 or whatever ? If this is the case I think it is available (I had something like that a while ago, will look). El Bee ps If anyone has further info like total made in a certain colour, I would really be interested for my R33.
  13. Thankfully, the big static season is pretty well over. I believe that it is most common on dry Wintery days. (I think wind might come into it also) I was getting them regularly till a few weeks ago. And it does help to touch the metal and then put you foot on the ground if you can remember to do that. El Bee
  14. Thanks Duncan. Much appreciated. Genelle is doing OK. Looking forward to this drag day big time. I have said it before but, THIS TIME the Green R33 should slash its previous best time. Enjoy! El Bee
  15. On a lighter note ? My Wife ran in the first drag day a while back and is the driving force behind the car, and any modifications that may have been done. Genelle has not been able to run last time, or this time, due to illness. I just want to say that this month has a significance to do with breast cancer. I believe that there are various things like "pink ribbons" on sale etc to do with this good cause. Our Green R33 will be sporting a pink ribbon or two, even though it will be driven by my Son and myself. All being well, next year will be time for the Girls. My Wife and my Daughter will be taking our place and, hopefully not kicking our butts too hard in the drags. Soooooooooo... Please say gday to us on the day. The Missus will be easy to spot as the one with the canteen bandana, and I will be driving the Green R33 "pink ribboned up". If anyone else wants to "ribbon up" with us, that will be fun. Enjoy! El Bee & Humbla and Waynos etc
  16. If the day is confirmed, then I am confirmed. See you there. El Bee & Humbla
  17. Recently had some changes to the fuel system, and now the economy is up to nearly 12l/100kms. Oh well. You get that. El Bee
  18. I'm sorry to say it but... "The only way is up". El Bee
  19. Personally, I don't believe you could drive a car that uses over 70 Litres per 100 Kms. You have got to be losing it somewhere.\ El Bee
  20. I am interested in the question posed by Dale FZ1. Surely someone has answers to these simple questions. El Bee (Watching closely)
  21. I have been watching this for a while now. With a mixture of Provincial Town and Highway driving, I have been getting between 9.5 and 14.0 l/100kms. Most of the figures were around 11 or so. Come on guys. Do the right thing and work your usage out correctly. Don't just rely on the old "I get such and such per tank". If anyone wants to know how to do it just ask. El Bee
  22. It's all wrong in suburbia. Some of the outa towners having to travel in town is acceptable. The other 96% of wankers driving 4WDs because they can, are just plain wrong. El Bee
  23. Hey Stan, just noticed your post. Yes, I did the same thing (2 stage process). I first ground the section away and as a temporary measure I fashioned some thick cardboard to cover and wrapped it around with duct tape. This was until I could get the car and my mate and the plastic all in the same place. Glad you like it. El Bee
