Had a great day with plenty of track time. Ended up using a whole tank of fuel, which is quite an effort in my car. Thanks to the organisers for a well run event even though Corinne did tease my SR20 . We should try and do this more often.

It should take a under two hours from there on the speed limit. As there are so few cars the fuel stop should only take 5 minutes. Arrival at the track should be at about 8am. That is why we are leaving 6am sharp NO WAITING FOR STRAGLERS!!!!

Looks like there will only be a few meeting up here. I will be there at about 5:45am and leaving at 6am sharp. For those meeting here, please remember to fuel up as we won’t be stopping until Marulen BP.

Just a bit of humour, no need to get upset . We all know how expensive track days can be. I do believe however, that considering the amount of money we spend of our cars, it is wise to invest a bit of money on something that is going to protect your head. For those hiring helmets, be aware that they are limited and although they have quite a few they are all different sizes. So if there are a lot of people with the same size head you may have to settle for an ill fitting helmet.

So does that mean that passangers are allowed? I am bringing a passanger and need to let him know if he will be allowed in the car around the track. Thanks.

As sign in and scutineering statrts at around 8:00am lets plan to leave at 6:00am. The drive from Casula should take a little under 2 hours. At the same meet up last year there were only about 5 or 6 cars so the fuel stop should not take long.

For those who want to cruise down to Wakefield together, We can meet at Casula Bunnings car park at the cross roads from 6:00am leaving at 6:15am SHARP. No waiting for straglers. This is located where the Hume Hwy splits into Camden Valley Way and Campbelltown Road. The big white building in the centre of this map. Carpark to meet at circled in red.: Link to road map here: Map This is a good spot as it is near the M7 and M5 so is convenient for those coming from most parts of Sydney. It is also easy to get on the Freeway and head to Goulburn from this point. Arrive with enough fuel to get to BP Marulen (3/4 of the way there) where we can fill up with ultimate 98 octane ready for the track. Post or PM if you want to meet up from here and I will add you to the list.

PAID! The 200 will be there and ready for action!! As long as my brakes work I will post up a meeting point thread soon (same one as last time at Casula Bunnings) for people driving down on Saturday morning. It will be an early one and we will be leaving at the posted time, NO STRAGGLERS.

I am 90% in. Will know for sure closer to the date. You may want to check on this as I think that since the track came under new ownership they no longer accepts CAMS licence.

Thanks for the times Corinne. Will the rest of the back track time (third runs and afternoon) go up later? I know I got into the 1:44s in the afternoon, I am just curious to compare to the rest of the afternoon runners (my competitive side coming out). Yes but most people were quicker in the afternoon.

Any ETA on times and results?

As I don't have a connection at home this is my last post before the meet up. See you all there.

My semis are already bolted on and I will be driving to Canberra on them. Can’t be bothered tracking two sets of tyres. If I smoke them on then skid pan so be it. I know smooth is faster but smoke and sideways is more fun. I will drive properly on the track (I promise). Mine are only Azenis so they are not real semis anyway.
