I thought I would start a thread for a Saturday meet up for people around Liverpool (or any other area) to drive down to the accomodation for Texikhana. Rather than go back and forward with suggestions please consider the following: For those who want to cruise down together, we can meet at Casula Bunnings car park at the Cross Roads in Casula . This is located where the Hume Hwy splits into Camden Valley Way and Campbelltown Road. Near the C on this map: Map I think this is a good spot as it is near the M7 and M5 so is convenient for those coming from most parts of Sydney. It is also easy to get on the Freeway and head to Canberra from this point. Due to overwhelming support the meet up will be at the early time. Early: 1pm meet up for 1:30pm departure should get us there at about 3:30 to 4:00pm; Late: 3pm meet up for 3:30pm departure should get us there at about 6:30 to 7:00pm ready for dinner; For other who are oranising meet ups for other parts of Sydney we can try to meet up with your groups as well. CAMS are a bit slow at the moment, I sent my renewal in on the 20th of March and they only processed the payment last Friday. I am expecting to recieved it this week.

Few questions: 1) Has my payment gone through? 2) How many spots are left? As I may have some other people interested in coming along. 3) Can the list on the 1st page be updated? 4) For people who have attended before; is it worth putting on the semis for this or will street tyres do? 5) Any news on accommodation yet? Thanks

It seems there are plenty of R33 GTRs even V specs in the low 20K compared to R34 which are 60K to 100K plus. Even a good R34 GTT seems to be in the mid to high 20K.

I've been thinking of buying a skyline and am considering either an R32 GTR or R34GTT as I am not that keen on the R33 shape. What I don’t understand is why are R33 GTR V specs so cheap compared to R32 and R34 GTRs? Also how would an R34GTT do for occasional track days, are they to heavy?

I might tag along to EC if I can find some semis by then. Chris, let me know if you are going to go drifting. I may join you as I want to kill my current rear tyres as they are crap!!

It is not the big GT one it is the lower standard spoiler. Nissan sells these for some ridiculous price like $800. It is taking up space in my garage so I am getting rid of it cheap. This is a factory Nissan part and not a copy.

Have been off the forum and had no time for the car for a while. Am keen to hit the track again soon but my R888's are dead. I am looking for some new semi slicks, so who’s got the hot deals at the moment? Last time I got them at Taleb tyres for a bargain but they have no parallel imports at the moment. If I can't get another bargain I will probably go for Falken Azenis 615 as the price seems reasonable at about $250 for 225/50/16. Any suggestions?

Keen for a track day but those dates are out for me other than maybe Wednesday. I need new trck tyres, my Toyos are dead. Any good deals going around?

Remember I'm driving pretty much a stocker so I try to limit it to 1 track day a month in the colder months only (not easy with so much temptation everywhere). Plus I will be lucky if my current semis last the track day this weekend and I wont have time to get another set by next weekend. Pitty because I was keen to attend this one. What are the details for Oran Park? May be able to get my act together by then.

I am still not 100% on this one. Have been invited to a track day on this Sunday and not sure if I can back up the following weekend.
