Hey all, whatever code does this mean it does a short flash then ecu stays on

So now she's got no spark?.....

It barely starts tho it is difficult to get it to start like it may start one week for 5 minutes then won't start for 2 weeks

Yeah most definitely just shuts off exactly like that, yeah I'd most definitely do that but don't have a consult adapter....

Hey all so will give you a quick rundown so I have an rb20det, she starts occasionally idles for a few minutes then shuts off and refuses to start again, now I have go one wires, piping, put new cas sensor, new afm, new sparks, new fuelpump, new ecu, 02 sensor, i pulled the fuel filter off and bypassed it still nothing, puthave tried resetting the ecu, have no bloody luck with it at all, will attach a video on it hopefully it help you rb gurus, any info would be appreciated just trying to get the girl running, cheers heaps team, much appreciated 20230811_170623.mp4 20230811_170623.mp4

Stock r32 gtst rb20det ecu, no haven't yet, as just put a new pump in and went ahead, yeah csr turns just doesn't fire, cheers

Hi, have an rb20det, that will sometime start and rum for 10 mins then just randomly shut off and engine light comes on, then not turn over again, I have fuel on my sparks, have put new afm on, new cas, new fuel pump, have checked fuel getting thru filter,new sparks, now it done this before replacing everything, would just start from time to time idle then stall out, any possible information would be great thanks 20230811_170623.mp4

Hey all so anyways having trouble with the cooling system in it, now have a hose running under intake and beside thermostat have plugged in the long hose running from firewall side, also plumbed the smaller port which was under it, as old engine was like that, now back toward the firewall have plugged I the shorter hose from firewall side, but am left with another plug that is a coolant/water hose, just wanting to get an idea of what it could be and where to plug it? It's the port closest to the firewall, one over from it is where have plugged in the coolant hose, any idea of where it could plug it as I don't have an extra hose there to connect it but I left a hose there on the new block and water/ coolant is coming out of it.....

Mean when you get told engine is "rebuilt" "under 5000km" and you drive it round maybe 400km at most n it f**ks its bloody great, cam bearing cap had nuts snapped into the head, guess lots of shortcuts taken in a backyard with it, not really on when go to buy a car yet keep finding more things, harmonic balancer is totaled (will attach photo) mate it's awesome 👍🫠, have known all this from get go would've brought a v8 commodore

Hard way? knew something was up with it, why not prepare for worst case?

If you tap on photo it should make photo clearer, has a score mark on number 5 guessing the rings have failed, a little bit towards the top of cylinders on all but nothing extreme, and no scorch marks on the others, cheers

Hi all have got the head off this is all that have found so far, do you reckon this is the cause to my problems, of smoking like a freight train, on idle, on throttle cold, hot, there's abit of scoring on cylinder 5 as had no comp on it, cheers team
