  1. Thanks for clearing that up, I see you comment on most posts it’s very helpful for less mechanically inclined people like myself so cheers, could you recommend other things to check ? All I have done to this motor since seeing it run fine in another car (completely stock) is install a Freddy plenum and a 3076 on a top mount , replaced plugs and have split fires on the way currently
  2. Yes it will continue to idle until eventually stalling between 10-20 seconds, still continues to idle even once I hit the battery isolater or disconnect battery

Un able to check it at idle as it won’t idle for me long enough to try, best I’m able to do is with ignition on engine off and no matter where I turn the tps the voltage doesn’t change from 5.10, if I unplug afm it will idle longer but won’t turn off with ignition, have since swapped afm to no real change

Hey guys looking for abit of guidance, I have put a 25det into my r31 and am having trouble getting it to idle it will rev fine and not miss but on idle it runs like abit of a dog and stalls, I checked the tps voltage and it was 5.10 with car switched off I’m unsure if that is in the perimeters? other then tps could the iacv be the cause or potentially vvt ? I realise it could be a range of things but have to start somewhere, cheers
  5. Ok I’ll try get my hands on one but perhaps you could tell me if it goes off the same wire as o2 sensor Hopefully can kill 2 birds with one stone if I just tap ignition and the pin 113 into that, thankyou for your help

Hey guys just wired in a 25 into my r31 the car runs and starts fine but am having trouble understanding how to wire up the vct/o2 my understanding is they are powered off the same wire, I’ve read elsewhere that one wire for the vct goes to ign 12v and the other to ecu pin113, hoping some can shed some light for me as there are only 2 conversion guides I can find but one is just a alteration of the other and isn’t any clearer to me, cheers
  8. I have a stainless ks racing top mount as it was cheap I assume the manifold design won’t be ideal? Okay is the g30-660 a smaller turbo or is it because of the smaller rear housing ? Pic for reference of manifold design
  9. Hello wondering if someone could tell me if a 38mm external wastegate would be adequate for a 25det running a psr 3076 .82 only looking for around the 300kw mark (or there abouts). My top mount has a 2bolt flange for the wastegate and as far as I can see anything over 38mm is v-band, if possible I’d like to not have to modify the manifold, thanks in advance sorry if this has been asked but I could not find any threads about it.

Hey all looking for advice/experiences with cams for rb25 s2, after something that is a straight replacement (drop in) with no headwork required, I’m after more mid range to top end power opposed to low range, mods currently are basic bolt ons psr3076 top mount mani ffp Front mount 2.5” cooler piping 3” exhaust
  11. Oh awesome thankyou! Bugger haha I had actuator on the motor side but second guessed myself because the mounts for accel cable tensioner thing are on the guard side
  12. Hey guys I have a r31 that I’m converting to a rb25 I have put a ffp on and the cable I got with the motor is miles to long, just wondering if there is a shorter cable out there I can buy, cheers 🙂
  13. Yea I was thinking about a spacer but came to the same conclusion I was hoping my eyes were playing a trick on me and someone has had success with the same manifold

Hello just wondering if anyone else has had any experience with ks racing manifolds, I recently purchased a top mount and am happy with the overall quality but the angle of the t3 seems to be pointing the turbo really close to the valve cover, I currently don’t have a turbo to test fit but am looking to get a 3076 and am thinking I may have fitment issues and was wondering what people have done to counter act this, and yes I’m aware 6boost is what I should have bought before everyone comments that haha. Any input appreciated 🥂

Yes everything has gotten a lot more expensive since I last had a skyline it’s nuts for example last time I bought a 25det it cost me 1500$, I just payed double that a few weeks back for one and that seemed to be on the cheaper side 😳I already have a 25det gearbox just have to buy clutch, modify tailshaft and buy a new speed sender etc which is all adding up quick! That is a good price I’ll have a think on it thankyou!
  17. Thanks for your advice! Yea I’ve read on a few forums that these turbos make really good noises! But when trying to find out when they boost vague and conflicting answers, I am in aus nsw yes, I have alot of money to spend elsewhere first(Haltech,25det gbox conversion) but can’t hurt to ask how much just in case the price is right
  18. Personally I like when boost slowly rolls on and having boost come on later between 3-4K seems like a more usable power for street driving/ cornering at speed the power will be there, just a personal preference more then anything

  21. hello First time poster on any sort of forum so please be nice! looking on advice/experiences people have had with pulsar turbos more specifically the 3576 or 3076, I’m building a r31 with a rb25det series 2 and wanting 300kw, I’m looking for a turbo that won’t come on until low to mid 3k rpm and full boost before or around 4K, only mods that may affect response that I have are top Mount mani and a FFP, thanks in advance
