  1. Not that i have a 32 GTR.... A full Veilside kit- Blue 2.8....no, an OS Giken 3 litre kit will be fine 2835Rs Holinger sequential TE37s.....NO CHROME 335mm tyres. Street/track interior with NO leather. 600kw will work. Ship it over to Japan and just do Wangan runs every night.

  4. Hey, i didnt quite know where to post this. On the High Octane Overboost DVD, The Japanese tuning company Autoselect has their R34 GTR doing laps at the T.I circuit. My question is, what blow off valve does it use? Also on The Nissan Skyline story, there is a black R33 GTR at the Spa in Belgium. It sounds like he is using the same blowoff valve......sounds great!!!! Any ideas would be helpful, as id like to purchase one in the near future. Cheers
  5. So much for a diverse field of entrants......They say they want a diverse range and throw it all away by capping it off by only having Australian production cars. What the hell is wrong with the Australian way of thinking that Fords and Holdens are the greatest things on earth? Mt Panorama is just down the street and all i can get is Australian cars. Yet when they actually bring in the 12 hour which you would think would bring in some variety, they keep it primarily aussie. They've probably still got the 1991 Australian Touring Car Championship results in the back of their minds.

  7. if the fuel filter is making any sort of problem, the only thing it could do is get blocked really, i dont think it could flow more than it should. with your afr at around 11.....it shouldnt be using too much fuel. Ive heard o2 sensors need to be changed every 75 thousand kays.

  9. yeah, i have heard that the 33 gets about 10-11 per 100, but i wanted to check with people who acyually know for sure. an SR20 will always get the better fuel consumption, but then i'll always miss out on that awesome RB sound....... unless the R32 is a wise choice, not sure about a non turbo R32 tho.
  10. Im soon going onto my Ps, and ive been thinking of buying a non turbo Nissan. The 180sx or silvia was an idea, but finding a non turbo proved hard. Can someone confirm with me the rarity of non turbo S13s? Did they make any? I then thought of an affordable R33 GTS. Does anyone have the fuel sonsumption on an R33 GTS, or your other import? The fuel consumption on any import would be nice to have for first time buyer. I know that the 2.5 isnt a huge engine, but i dont want to buy something that guzzles fuel. Thanks
  11. You really have to admire the japs. to build engines that can take that much power out of a stock bottom end for that long....damn i respect them. THe RBs, the SRs.....they really know their s#!t. weve all been brought up in a country where V8s think there king s#!t, yet imports have come along where you can pull out even more street power from about half the capacity. Im not old enough yet to help annihilate V8ers on the stip or the track, but please, for those who can, continue to do so, your my F&*@en absolute idols. plus what engine really does sound better than an RB? i doubt theres any comparison Man, all the best for your RB, im sure it could hold out for a rip down the quarter. And christ.....stop abusin people for the power that theyre makin, just cause you havent seen it in the flesh...must be frustratin for the person thats got to put up with it all. Cheers
  12. they cant fine you, cause the cops wouldnt know if the guy ringin up about some dude speeding would be telling the truth or not. But, im pretty sure if you give the number plate to the cops, they can follow it up to see if youve got a record or not for speeding, but i dont know what they do next.
  13. The new p plate laws that were brought in during July has really annoyed the hell out of me. They say that the performance car youth are too dangerous on our roads. Sure the majority of us can behave to a point, but there are some that cross the line now and then. But you cant accuse them, as we all do it, its just a part of being a young driver. Im inclined to agree that we could reduce the road toll, but the way there going about this is way too stupid. The government has banned high powered motor vehicles to provisional liscence drivers. But to logically look at this new law, you wonder what type of grass the government was smoking when they made it. I have recently looked through the list of banned V8, turbocharged, and supercharged vehicles on the rta website, and for starters the list is 98 pages long. With around 30 cars on each page, it equates to around 3000 banned vehicles! For starters, for this law to be enforced, highway patrol officers all around the state would have to have issued lists of all these banned vehicles so that these turbocharged, supercharged and V8 vehicles can be identified. Even with something like this, how would the average cop know what a 20 year old Nissan Exa or something similar looks like, let alone know that paticular model ET Pulsar had the turbo motor. See the logic? To see it another way. I read through the pages to find a few standout vehicles that were 'too overpowered' for provisional drivers to drive, the Nissan Silvia S13 Turbo, the Toyota Starlet Turbo and the Ford Lazer TX3 turbo. these cars do not produce over 140 flywheel kilowatts! Yet non turbo family cars such as Camrys or sedan Commodores can produce the same amount of power, if not more, yet these cars are still easily obtainable by provisional drivers. Yet, the government fails to realise that the cars that are still obtainable by p plate drivers can all exceed the speed limit and all can claim lives by being used to do so, which we still will keep on doing .So why is it that myself and all the other young performance car enthusiasts have to get by on 'normal performance cars', when these cars can kill us anyway.

  17. by the sounds of it, if you still have the stock internal motor, the thing wont last long, but it depends on how much power the car will eventually run with the new turbo, and how heavy your right foort will be. yeah stock injectors will probably run out of puff real quick with approx. 200rwkw plus. cause ive had no experience at all with a 32, dont take my word on it, but whatever kilowatts your wanting to produce will all depend on which turbo would suit. good luck with it
  18. I might not be the most knowledged person on the planet, but how many kays has it done? if its had a LONG, hard life then id say itd be the rings, but ya aint pouring out smoke all the time. But with aftermarket exhausts, the backfiring should be fairly normal.
  19. hey man, im not really stacked up on knowledge, but what are you running your boost through? Cause if its a bleed valve, i think your boost might be 'spiking', If you have one installed, have you thought of that? hope goes well
  20. man have ya tried the post or something like it? cause man it would definately sell if the right buyer came along, but this aint the biggest community to sell a car through, not enough people. good luck with it though.
  21. hey, well have you tried turning the boost down and finding a difference? if you find a difference, have you checked the size of the lines? Maybe its just too small to let anymore boost through. good luck
  22. Im only 15 and dont really know all that much so please correct me if need be, but being 2540s, wouldnt they need more than 1 bar to really start kickin? Reading about a set of turbos on a R32 GTR that were bigger than 2540s a while ago, said that they didnt really start much at all until 22psi, but at a start at 4650rpm. Does she need more boost?
