Motor was in car. It was done about 20000kms ago. I have $5500 worth of reciepts for the engine. Im only throwin around ideas on selling it as its to laggy for my likeings

Hi im unsure if this is in the right section so if its not could someone move it please?? Im wondering if someone could tell me what my engine and gbox is worth?? Moto is a rb25 that was built 2 years ago by JHH engerneering. um its got forged pistons, shot peened rods, heads been flowed, blocks been o-ringed, custom subzero intake manifold with 100mm throttle body, standard inj, turbo etc.. Gearbox has has a button clutch of unknow make.. So um yeah just wondering if someone could give me a price what to sell it for. Thanks :D

Thanks for the reply So does that mean if car is at 15 degrees it means all is good?? According to FC car idles at about 15-17 degrees. I cant check with a timing light as I have no lower timing belt cover to go off Also car occasionally makes a loud pop when I shut it off, Ocasionally it wont rev unless i change timing on hand controller. (i once had to take 12 degrees out to get it to run) and sometimes it runs fine.

Hi all. I recently had my crank angle sensor out for sum head repairs and make a mistake of jaming the CAS and breaking the guide bit that makes sure it goes back in the right spot. My question is were is the bit located?? on the CAS or the cam itself?? We had to keep pulling of the CAS and spin it until the car ran so i could get it home. Thanks in advance :D:D

My water temp sits between 85-100 degrees accoirding to my FC contoller. Is this normal?? Thanks

Hi all. I just fitted my power fc to my 33 and noticed in sensor check that my TPS volts were .15 at idle. I heard that .5 was normal?? Car has a XF TPS on a custom plenum would that make a difference?? Also what volts should i be looking at when full throttle?? Thanks. Also cars idle cant be changed could this be the plenums fault??

Umm yes it is. I can show u a pic if u want. I think my crank angle sensor is incorrectly installed cause the little guide thingie were it sits in was broken and im not 100% itslined up correctly. Make sense??

um... my fc shows 42degrees at about 4000rpm!!??? is this bad?? Engine is a rb25 with lowered comp and stock turbo. Power FC is still untuned. Car also has a overheating problem could this have something to do with it??

Hi all My RB25 turbo has commited suicide and was wondering if a vg30 turbo would be a worthwhile replacement? I assume it would be an upgrade considering the turbos of a 3l engine. Is much involved fitting it? Would i expect much of a power increase? Car has FM, FC all the usual mods. Thanks

Hi all. Does anyone know the part numbers for the water lines near the oil filter cooler thingie?? Or somewere to get these from? I am after all of the water lines near filter cause one of them split and I cant which one it is. Thanks in advance
