hey there guys, the lovely Japanese machine decided to shit itself the other day, radiator cracked! soooo getting a aluminum one soon! but whilst taking out the old radiator, i found this plug between the rad & aircon rad... anyone know what it is?, it runs under the front top rail... also... due to the overheating & a previous pinging issue, engine is now shaky at idle & developed a knock.. im gonna keep driving the car until it goes pop & chuck in a turbo motor.. random question is, how do the turbo guys chuck front mounts in m-spec fronts? cheers, matty

Selling my 1996 R33 S2 Skyline - Manual - 122,xxx k's on the clock. This car has been my pride and joy for the last 5 years and before that its owner was my brother in law who bought it from a Jap Import dealer in Melbourne in 1999, FOB with roughly 25-30k on the clock. He bought this NA R33 because of the high standard it was in, compared it to GTST's, Supra's and he loved this one out of the bunch. I've got some receipts laying around, but this is what i know & can varify has been done to the car; -water pump changed at 60,xxx -regular servicing at 5000-7500 intervals - HPR10 Penrite Oil - doesnt drink a drop. -new tires 5,000 k's ago, will have them rotated and aligned this week. -new water hoses to radiator Otherwise everything else is stock, and mechanically in great condition, shocks are perfect, brakes are very good, had a ROADWORTHY check recently just to check the standing of the car, it passed beautifully, just needed brake fluid change and front control bushes, which was done for peace of mind. Body is straight! no crashes, but had chemical spill on bonnet so was replaced with S1 bonnet - repainted. At this time front bar was changed with a 400R/GTR replica but it was seriouslly low, so replaced with standard M spec front bar which is a little raggedy. Interior is seriouslly clean and un-molested. Otherwise, not much else to say? any questions please ask. Matt - 0419116318. Price - $12,000 ONO - open to offers!

Hey all, i recently got this new front bar from my insurance company, and even though i find it sexy, i want to turn my car into a stockie on the outside. so i would PREFER a trade with a mspec front bar, but am up for selling it. (Sell alone, without reo, $400neg - includes indicators) The bar has a few little scrapes at the bottom being so low, but great for a track car or someone who does live surrounded by hills... plus looks great!... New bar, fresh paint and clear, looks AMAZING, has little cracks near the mounts at the fenders, but only about 5mm-10mm in size.

just a punt, but wouldnt the end mounting points be different because of the GTR flared guards?

Couldn't find the EDIT button, lol... heres a pic! let the 'opinions' fly.. -
Hey all, this isn't exactly a discussion, so this will probably be in the wrong section, but if we discuss opinions, then i think i'll be safe =P Point being, i thought i'd get more view here - my dilemma, i recently got this new front bar from my insurance company, i dont want it... I want to revert my skyline back to stock M-Spec, like it was at its birth - i wanted to gauge if someone would like a straight up trade for a M-Spec front bar, preferably same colour, and good condition. So just reply here if interested! And to make this post legit - do you like it the front bar? i think its sexy - just not for me =S (Photos tomorrow!!!)

i'd have to say it looks bad...like someone said earlier, its a skyline not an escalade. skylines are made to go fast...and turn dropped like that...wouldnt have a clue how steering would work?!? but at the end of the day, its your car and therefore your the one who ultimately makes the decision of whether to go ahead with it or not. =]
