rmahawaii, I went to see my tuner cos of the same problem...what he ended up doing was to give the idle bypass valve a couple of turns with a screwdriver, and now the car doesn't stall. The car idles at around 800rpm now, n I can safely say i have not stalled at all since
I've just been to my tuner, n all he's done is to give the idle bypass valve a couple of turns with the screwdriver...car is not stalling anymore, anywhere...idles just fine. hope this can help everyone a little...
hmmm...my brother used to do that
I'm malaysian, n i just found that funny...i can't say why he did that with the wipers...he was only 12 at the time. He did alot more than that to be honest It was just out of boredom i guess...
I just put a bomex front bar onto my car for 950 fitted & painted...for the rest of the kit, it'll be also be 950 fitted and painted, so that's like 1900...it's a good price for a killer kit.
I thought i was the only one with this stupid problem...I've been trying to just get into neutral and releasing the clutch pedal as often as i can even after dropping a gear to slow down...it seems to allow the rpm's to jump back up to 650-700 when i feel a stall coming on. The best thing is to just have it looked at, cos i doubt it's doing the starter motor any favors.
My tuner has told me everything is running fine, tuned it all the way up to 18psi at one point. He's assured me that the stock cooler is fine, but has obviously recommended a front mount
Gester, i sent my car to Dyson Rotary in Labrador, although it was Gavin Wood from Auto Tech who tuned the S-AFC, using Dyson's dyno. Gavin is apparently an Apexi expert, did it very quickly.
look Dyson up, he can sort it all out.
yea i know I should be replacing the stock cooler...haven't had the funds for that kinda work yet. I've got one on hold, $1500 for cooler plus piping...good price or not? any better deals?
I don't run it at 13psi all the time, 9psi is good enough for the streets. Can't afford to go nuts around here anymore
I was told by several ppl the car could make into the high 12's if the launch is a great one.
benm u're right about the numbers...my mistake
ok, sold to nismoman18
clint...my new front bar has to be fitted before they paint it, so it may take a little longer. Will call you once everything is sorted out
Zak
Hi guys,
Just added an s-afc and a HKS EVC 3 to the car, and it dyno'ed at 255hp with 200rwkw at 13psi (did 270hp at 15psi)
my mods include:
hi-flowed T03 with T04 compressor
full turbo back exhaust
s-afc
EVC 3 boost controller
stock intercooler
I'm wondering whether or not this is the power it SHOULD be making or whether it is lacking anything.
And what would be a good quartermile time for a car like this
All input will be greatly appreciated
Zak
the car is a 1995 R33 Gts-t
...comes off a series 1 R33

I've actually already got the m-spec front bar, n it has already been cut...I'm looking for something different this time round.
vendetta, where can i find veilslide kits?
Hi all,
I'm looking for a front bar, preferably along the lines of the GTR shape...can anyone point me in the right direction for something that'll look sweet, and won't require any other bodywork mods.
Would prefer to look around locally (Gold Coast) but will take anything at the right price
thanks
the front bar will go onto a 1995 R33 Gtst
A good price to pay for an S-AFC would be around 400-450 bucks. N yea it'll help u loads with monitoring fuel mapping through the engine. it's definitely a good buy
