  2. If its only when you go over rough patches in the road then i have the same problem.. I recently replaced the bushes so im sure it wont be that.. either way gotta get it checked out.. Oh, and it doesnt help when u got a mate thats 200 odd kg sitting in the passenger seat... :spcartman
  3. I got mine done 2 mnths ago at Glenmount Automotive, polyurathane bushes also, cant remember exactly how much it cost as i had a few other items getting fixed but it was about $120 installed. Wont hurt to get a second price.. Ph- 9544 4000
  4. Hi guys, Just wondering what alarm you would recommend putting on my 33 gts-t... Obviously not after a crappy cheap alarm, but a mid-range alarm for about $600 installed... Must have 3pt immobiliser, black wiring, etc Also, where to get system [head unit, amp, + sub installed professionally?] I am Melbourne based (s.e. suburbs).. Cheers, Serge

  6. Yeah dude i got a pretty stock r33 and i guess the clutch is stock, it is does the same thing when cold.. especially if i back off or lift the clutch quickly, but only in reverse...
  7. Think my Apexi springs just shat themselves.. (had a rather large friend in the car the other day)... :spcartman Could u attach some pics...?
  8. Hey B&M, I have only had my 33 since feb this year and wouldnt consider myself an expert but thought i might as well chip in my 2c worth.. At first i was getting the same stalling problem where the revs would just drop till it stalled.. I dont know if this will work in your case but the problem i found was that i was kaning it and dumping it straight into neutral.. It might just be your driving style, as was the case with me.. To do this in a N/A car is ok but it seems the 33s or just turbos in general dont like it.. So always have it in reasonably low rpm when changing gear to neutral... Another words always put it into gear after you have kaned it and then into neutral... Hope this makes sense, but its helped me.. havent stalled it since...
  9. Havent tried Apexi but i guess it seems to be more popular...
  10. I had a K&N pod filter with chrome tip, was ok at the start but requires oiling every 50,000kms or so.. I would strongly suggest buying a filter which does not require oiling as my idle has stuffed up as a result of using one.. too much oil.. probli stuk in afm.. Anyways i bought a Blitz LM Filter and it works fine so far and has much less lag than the K&N.. Got it at Autobarn for $170..
  11. 1- VL [non-turbo] 2- R33 Gts-t
  12. I dont know about a HKS dump but a mate/importer of mine sells various dump pipes.. He should be able to look after you. [PM BATMBL on the forums] Check his site out first to see if its what ur after.. http://www.bosimporting.com.au/ Cheers
  13. Lol.. ive thought of that before too.. guess the best thing is not to drink n drive.. that or stay out for at least a couple of hours
  14. Oh... Kaaayy... :nowigetit So only the aftermarket coolers are viewed as 'intake mods'.. Hope your right!
  15. Forgive me if im stating the obvious, but if only one intake is permitted and you have a turbo such as a gts-t which has a factory cooler, then a pod filter is out of the question right? Either that or take the cooler off and use the pod... :argue:
  16. I recently replaced my left outer tie rod end for my 33.. costed about $120 + labour...
  17. You have to get the car complied at a (RAWS) Registered Automotive Workshop, and they will apply for the compliance plate for you.. Cost for a 33gts-t was $3950 for me. Might be same price for 32gts-t..
  18. If still available can u send pics of side skirts to [email protected] Cheers,
  19. Hey guys, I have a friend on SAU named Michael (username BATMBL) who might be able to help you out with these as i know he imports and stocks various skyline pipes.. Check his website out too http://www.bosimporting.com.au/ Very reliable, sydney based, oh he imported my line too...
  20. I got 18s on my 33 and they sit nicely but still have to watch it when goin over speed humps, driveways, etc.. Car came with Apexi suspension.. doesnt scrape the guards
  21. Oh yea, $800-1k for a stainless steel cat-back..
  22. Blitz.. very deep sounding and not too loud..
  23. I bought my car back in november 04 and just got it complied and road registered end of feb. Apart from having delays with getting it on a boat, when my importer in sydney received the car, pretty much all tyres needed changing, and it had underbody damage which meant that it could not be complied until the appropriate repairs were made on the chassis... i got off easy [$250 to fix]... I was told the damage was most likely caused by a forklift... This is the description i got [with 8 photos] before i bought the car: 1995 Nissan Skyline GTS-T Type M White White, F5, 77,000kms. 18"Linea sport alloys, Blitz big bore exhaust, A/M suspension (originals in boot), Apexi turbo timer, A/M gear shift. Interior in tip top condition. The front bumper has a crack otherwise the exterior is also in very good condition. A minor accident repair (RHF panel replaced) but repair is good/unseen. This car drives well and the wheels look terrific. Purchased through 'Japan Auto Direct'... Fortunately, aside from a few minor idling issues, the car runs fine and looks great.
