  1. Oh man, at least it sounds they've accepted they stuffed up and not put it back on you...could see some confusion if they asked if it had a hardtop or not, and you've answered truthfully but maybe not answering their real question which is what roof did it have from the factory! Glad your keeping it N/A 2.5
  2. You would need to paint your hardtop again though
  3. Ah yes, forgot how much harder my car went on a cold Canberra morning vs hot summer arvo
  4. Can you covert an R32's AC from r12 to r134 if the compressor/hoses etc are still all good? Pretty sure on my car the AC was degassed when it was imported to remove the naughty r12 and save the ozone layer, and the fancy climate control system just blew air around. Was happy to drive the car with windows down back then, but now I am old and need to be kept cool
  5. Is the toolbox that damaged the boot seal the same item that fell on the car during the storm a while back?
  6. I know which one I'd prefer to have in my garage, and which one I'd actually drive as intended
  7. Good to see your rotors appear as rusty as mine 🤪
  8. Ok got some old tyres for you guys...my car has been sitting around un-driven for about 6 years now. I had it on the original rims with the shitty compliance tyres it got it with back in 2006, which were manufactured in 2004... Sidewalls eventually rotted and split open, obviously no air in them and the rims were holding the car up. Just swapped them with some 17" Work rims and tyres which are probably 10+ years old too but at least holding air
  9. That's awesome, well done! Love all these older Datsun / Nissans so rare now
  10. Deals off now apparently https://www.abc.net.au/news/2025-02-13/honda-and-nissan-say-merger-talks-called-off/104934438 Hopefully Nissan closes up soon and the family X-Trail becomes a classic too!
  11. Probably better investment to put your $1.5m through the pokies. Looks like they took out the extra zero on the price of that R34 and it's now at market (still stupid) value. If only old mate with the V6 Brockie would do the same thing (twice).
  12. Looks like corrosion on those is pretty common. Don't think I'll replace the hose on mine unless it really needs it
  13. For $2m you could grab Brockys sons daily driver AND a R34 GTR VSpec
  14. https://www.carsales.com.au/cars/details/1999-nissan-skyline-gt-r-v-spec-bnr34-manual-4wd/OAG-AD-24005316 i reckon some former Skyline owners are wishing they held out a little longer before selling up?
  15. Definitely the stroker kit. once you mention you have a RB28 everyone will assume you will flog them and hopefully won't start asking about support mods. Anyone will be too scared to race you, except maybe the RB30 boys
