Gabriel, with Malta driving on RHD side, same as us, are Jap imports popular? Do you get any Aussie cars? Have seen a photo of a VN Commodore that found its way there
-
I imagine 20 years ago every post about this car would be "why bother with NA" and "RB25 swap!"
-
Very clean car, are you keeping it stock or planning any mods?

R32 GTR EV? The leaf of the Godzilla's!
Ozdavroz replied to PranK's topic in General Automotive Discussion
😜 hopefully we get this instead of a new R36 GTR due to recent financial problems at Nissan. Nismo to sell a complete kit with RB26 and driveline. All starts making sense (ok maybe not) once the Nissan Leaf's (Leaves?) with stuffed EV motors/batteries hit the market cheap -

Bit more info on the R32EV following the reveal at Tokyo Auto Salon: https://www.aol.com/finance/nissans-electric-r32-skyline-gt-230000484.html -
Welcome Gabriel. At least your car has a glorious RB and not the shitty CA18. As MBS206 mentioned all the good bits can be added later. Two doors or four?

Thanks man, yes unfortunately normal bar went on after a minor accident. Smash repairer ordered the wrong version, needed my daily driver back asap so just accepted it. Hoping an aero bar in gun metal grey (KH2?) pops up for sale soon, I know paint from different cars won't match perfectly but will look good enough

Haha actually I did join back then under a different email address, I couldn't re-activate my account so made a new one! I didn't post much anyway so not missing out on much. Amazing to see how the value of the cars and parts has changed over the years, also ACT section appears to be dead now.

Thanks... It's in pretty good condition overall, probably due to not being drifted/tuned however being a daily driver has taken its toll. Had 100k on the clock when I got it, up to 180k now. Unfortunately it's not 100% dent free, it's got a small dent on FLH side and broken indicator from where I hit a small kangaroo at high speed. If you look at closely at pic #5 you might spot the dodgy trailer light repair my old man and I rigged up as temporary repair! - It's still there due to a combo of needing the car as daily driver and then too lazy/busy to fix properly. I've a couple of other minor accidents accidents as well but nothing major. One required a new front bar and unfortunately the smash repairer ordered the normal gtst one and not the aero bar. Needed the car back asap so just went with it, regretted ever since.

Hi everyone, I’m Dave from Canberra. Here's a few pics of my 1992 R32 GTST coupe which I imported back in 2006. Only mods so far are HKS Hi-power cat back exhaust, K&N filter, ATC Volanti steering wheel, Pioneer stereo, amp and sub. This was my daily driver up until 2015 and sadly hasn’t been driven at all in the last 5 years due to marriage, work, and kids taking up most of my time and spare cash.As such its in need of a bit of TLC and one of my goals for this year is to get it back to running condition and maybe look into club/historic rego. I’ve joined SAU so I can ask a few questions along the way (although I promise to google Current Problem +SAU beforehand!)

Love the aero front bars My car came with one originally but got swapped out after a minor front ender. The smash repairer ordered the wrong version, they asked me if I'd prefer to wait for the right one but I needed the car back ASAP as a daily driver, regretted it ever since. Now the bloody things cost 1.5k, probably scratched and cracked to hell too

Nissan needs to forget about building SUVs in every size possible and bring back the damn Silvia/200sx duo to compete with the 86/brz. Maybe with the Honda type r motor pointing the right way

Agreed. When I was looking at imports 20 years ago I noticed some FDs were about same price as R32s (IE a few grand at auction)but they weren't eligible due to whatever bullshit rules they had about parallel imports or whatever. Now all the jap boomers know what they got.... -
Are we at the point where Barra/LS swaps are the cost effective replacement for 30yo RBs which no-one can find?
