  1. Ask SK about the rb26plenum onto a rb20.. piss poor results apprently.. i wanted to do it to mine n well yer i just got told 'dont bother' basicaly
  2. 5000k oil and filter change Motul 4100 turbolight = car runs like a dream.. currently running catrol R 5w35 been there around 1300k's now car doesnt feel the same feels a little bit slower but than again it likes redline a little bit more how ever i will be goin back to motul... i've heard some amazing storys of people running motul in all different cars.. if i can dig up the little story of the supra that i read somewere i'll post it

Reedy, Wat rpm range does it spool up and create full boost by i am looking at putting one on my rb20 soon but i havent been able to find out wat rough area it will spool up by i've got the stock rb25 series 1 turbo on my car at the moment and i dont get full boost untill around 4000rpm lil bit after running 14psi lil bit before running 10psi.. so yer any info on spool of GTRS would be helpful thanks
  5. nope rb25 is 7psi rb20 is 10psi (well mine is) not to sure on rb26 but yer.. dunno why but meh..

  7. r32 stock boost is actualy 10psi.. 33's stock boost is 6-7psi how ever the actuators from both turbos fit each other soooo if it is running 6psi i'd say its possible either got a rb25 turbo on it or its for a rb25 actuator on the rb20 turbo... and yer bump your boost up to about 10.. 6psi in mine feels shithouse good on fuel economy tho i guess and boost level doesnt matter when not running around or playing so either way

  9. it loves 8000rpm but yer 10psi at 4000rpm bit of a doey bitch to drive.. but mind you its extremely smooth powerband
  10. quincy you need to you your dump pipe.. your loosing power big time from the factory dumpipe/front pipe you'll have boost come on earlier and harder rb25 turbo is a bit laggy on rb20's so i've found out i dont get full boost(10psi) untill 4000rpm.. bump that to 14psi and i dont get full boost untill 4300 so yer.. it gives the rb20 a nice strong topend which stock turbo lacks (pulls hard right to 8000rpm)
  11. boosted_32.. is your name andrew? is your 32 black? and do you live in cairns? well yer i got a mate with a r32 gtst same as much just stock turbo running 13psi while i run 10 psi.. and yer i hose him the weight makes a huge difference
  12. i have rb20det in an silvia.. with 'stock' CA brakes*worst nissan brakes EVER* hence the reason im doin 5stud conversion with r33 GTST brakes all round than the front mount is goin in it also bolts straight on dont have to change anything how ever i had a custom system made up from turbo back 3" straight thru split dump one 3inch straight thru cannon at the back with 4 inch tip split dump has 3inch for turbine and 1.5inch pipe for actuator flap

  14. i pulled around 245rwhp on the dyno a while back with 10psi rb25 turbo and turbo back custom exhaust.. stock computer.. my dyno sheet looked similar.. just my line kept goin straight up on the angle untill it hit redline so yer thats decent bit of power with stock turbo
  15. well yer.. from wat i understand about the GTSS's are they are a low to mid range turbo dont really have much top end.. but than again.. anyone feel free to proove me wrong.. depends wat there shifting at i guess.. would be nice to see a dyno sheet of the car as the power figure is rather nice
  16. my exhaust system is a custom 3inch mandrel bent job from turbo back.. its generaly 'quiet' but dont know wat the **** alarm system it was the other day but i started up in an angle park on a side street and set off a car alarm was rather funny but yer i havent been hassled about my exhaust by cops yet.. but yer its a plain straight thru system with just the rear cannon 4inch tip.. isnt to bad all up cost was around 1k for the whole system.. with split dump pipe all stainless.. all tig welded

  19. sounds about right to me... from my understanding GTSS lack top end.. so that doesnt sound to bad and also thats only 480awhp.. so yer doesnt sound to bad (also someone prolly needs to learn to drive )

  21. it should fit.. i cant see how there can be so much difference between series 2 and series 1 but i cant understand why hks have 2 different part numbers... maybe they are the same pipes just different gaskets?

  24. not entirely true DETurbine... they are getting another place to make them.. price of materials for them wouldnt exactly be all that cheap no matter wat you think.. even tho they are buying in bulk *sorta* shit is different from the US to australia the only thing i have against these plenums is i havent seen a BEFORE dyno sheet provided with the after plenum dyno sheet Warrick
