As Leewah said ............. the car made 253rwkw on Racepace dyno ............... which one of the 1st cars at Racepace to make over 250rwkw with stock turbos. When the car was raced 1/4 mile it had no rear spoiler, spare wheel or anything in the boot. Shaun also would switch the car to rwd mode for a big burnout on old semi-comp tyres. It was great car and owner knew how to drive it hard, the car visited 9000 rpm a few times. "Hirisk" always knew how to put on a good show

S L A P !!!!!!!! lol I have asked Gerald etc several times to come back to me with any content for the site, he was always too busy. I even got Ross to come down with me to structure the site. We got the sitemap sorted more or less, but once again been waiting for content which never arrived. Asked a number of times but nothing happened. Another great day at DECA ............. Well done to organizers. Weather sucked a$$, but it did make it more entertaining. Back track was interesting going backwards, skidpan was fun, but not having a handbrake sucked. I will have to put in a hydraulic handbrake for the next one. P.S. Thanks to all people who let me go for spin with them

Well done SAU for great event. Had a fantastic day at deca, but no handbrake didn't help, as only one course had no hand brake turn, so dropping down to 1st gear and compression lock up substituted handbrake, or clutch in, turn, lots of revs drop the clutch. I hope someone got footage of me racing the 350z Snowy you car is setup very well. I think going for a ride with you was my hightlight of the day. I think orientation laps might be good idea next time, as so many people were so lost ............... Ash............. you are BBQ king, no body handles a sausage like you do P.S. Some great photos guys........ keep em coming.

That 1973 240Z has 283rwkw on Racepace dyno. It did 1:21 on 5 year old semi-comp tyres. Had some brakes issues on the day. Niegel's Supra also did 1:21 and it was only his 2nd time at Sandown. Snowflake ....... you are going too fast too quickly..........slow down Can't believe how fast everyone is going these days. Was a good day out.

Ben did my Autronic, after a few other great tuners palyed with it. I thought I got a new car when I picked it up. More torque, response and top end. On friends car a Zed with an RB26 & Autronic, after a re-tune he gained 40rwkw and at 5000rpm another 50rwkw on same boost level. Car makes 280rwkw. He was extremly happy.

Leewah ............... you forgot that Ben also run 136mph, 21 psi on pulp, semi-comps 34psi tyre pressure. Wonder how quick it would be with 34psi boost and jungle juice.

Bass Junky, rewind a bit as the same moron asked about the Supra. Bogan looks at the Supra first and asks: Bogan: How much power does the Supra make: Us: made 574rwkw. Bogan: Yeah, but I am only interested in the torque,…. So is the curve like flat, or is a curve like that (bogan air draws the curve) cos if you have flat torque curve the car keeps pulling in each gear………. Us: right Bogan: SO what motor is it? Us: 2JZ Bogan: Is it a twin cam ???? Another bogan: Bogan: How much power does your 240z make Us: 220rwkw Bogan: My cousin got a 260z and it makes 221rwkw

BTW........ Ben’s GTR did 59.2 at CALDER today in fairly poor conditions, as it rained a bit every hour. It was also one of the quietest cars there.

There was a car in Australia that was going to do the same conversion, but after long time in the making the project was cancelled. It would be better, cheaper and easier with a better end result to strip the R32 GTR as much as possible, rather than install all this 4wd gear into a Zed. You will need hundreds or thousands of custom made parts to make it all work well, and at the end the car will weight over 1200kg/ 2700lb so it’s not really worth all the trouble. However there is a 4WD drag 240z in Japan with all GTR drive-train. Would like to see you do it, but I really don’t think it’s worth it. Just drop an RB26 with mods into your 240Z, get some Nittos and 9s should be possible as there is a car like that in Japan. It does 9.9 @ 146.7mph.

Good show guys, the SAU stand and FA stands looked great side by side. Very little rice, but lots power and good all around cars, The Gibson GTR was just a show stopper. The oldskool GTR .......... how cool is that car. Fangartists would like thank all SDU boys for helping out to organize the event and setup our stand. Well done James ….

......... well .......... once I crack 11s ........... (hopefully soon) the motor will be for sale next year with the cooler, Autronic and lots of other goodies as I got an RB26 that is waiting for a rebuild which will be replacing the L28 next year ......... :)
