It is not complex, Just give me a PM please Roy since your the only one who sounds interested and motivated. Turbonetic's turbo's are excellent, but Garret now have Dual RB Turbo's which would be much better then a GT35R in flow and response. Petar.

If you dont want to run C16 or other race fuel and push big power, then CDI and WI is your only safe STREETABLE thing to do. WI is safe, water is free.

No, many people dont use BOV. Spend the money on something that is going to give you performance for your dollar. with the 500$ or so you spend on a BOV you could buy yourself sticky tyre's or something else!!
-
F1 car's didnt have BOV's. Because they dont help your car in ANY WAY. Not even throttle off and on boost repsonse, and especially not turbo life. WRC's car's dont run BOV's they run pop-off valves, just to regulate them in boost.. nothing else. BOV"s are JIBBERISH!

Thats awsome Trap speed! If you want to host picture's please go to www.tinypic.com Copy and paste the link from there and that way people can view your images! Ill let me friends know about this car -
I had one of these BOV's on the R32 when it came from japan before i pulled it out They go something like this : PCHTTTTTT and after that PCHHTTT fully sic noise it flutters a little bit.... "watch out the flutter might kill your turbo"

how much can i bargin a 2nd hand car down to ?

when i brought my new car - New car at age 19???? Uni Student's cant afford new cars... - So you claim your a student. Why ask mum for some money, you only earn $100~ odd per week. You know what.. i never knew new car's can get bargained for down that much, nor a notch. I AM DEFINATLY GOING TO LOVE YOUR THREADS TILL YOU GET BANNED FOR LYING LIKE A SCHOOL KID! You stupid fool, you dont have to post jibberish so we think your cooll.. we already know your 13~~~ -

If your going ahead asking all these questions, i dont think you suit a turbo skyline. re-think all this before buying such a powerfull car moving from a toyota echo. Petar. -
It will not give you faster throttle response(boost response)in between gears... if it does on your car then your car is setup very shocking. Doesnt help me spool up quicker in between shifts.. your wrong .. show me some proof it does.
-
I cannot honestly be botherd anymore... my facts are correct. And i dont give if you plan to run a BOV or not, I was just trying to tell him you dont need to run a BOV because it WILL BLOODY NOT save turbo life. Roy ill drop you a PM with some specs and datalogs Cheers
-
Please, your making me laugh.. show me some facts why he needs a BOV.
-
Hey Roy, Since your with the BOV's ( which are bullcrap ) how long will a T04S last DAILY driven on 26psi with no BOV ?? Give me your thoughts, since you dont have facts did you pass thermo dynamics or strength of materials classes or even engineering design, I highly doubt it  Your arguments are based on nothig but your own opinion just like all BOV marketing crap, 2buk thoughts for a 2buk product Wink Inertial loads and resistance offered via a non positive displacement compressor are of such a small order that you cant even break off a piece of silicone rubber in an inlet track pre throttle let alone an aluminium compressor wheel or bend a 0.225" steel shaft !
-
I am not shit fighting too, just sharing About the GT1 yeh i believe you...
-
Your stupid.. so i am lieng i have never had a fault at 26psi on the track in my car.. which had NO bov. ??
-
Promotion you moron, like i stated before.
-
Yes no damage. That one 24 hour race on 45+psi would stress the entire turbo/engine/drivetrain more then your cefiro would in its lifetime.
-
Sydneykid i would like to tell you your wrong.... very very wrong. My Engineer told me to tell you that you don't know nothing and suck balls. If you want his email let me know! Im not being a smart ass but just giving you some real fact's. Stating BOV"s are useless pieces of shit. Some Quotes... PostPosted: Tue Jan 04, 2005 8:12 pm Post subject: Reply with quote Tell us what you really think Pete, you always do. Laughing I think you would convince a lot more people if you specifically responded to the allegations, not just pay someone out Laughing As explained ages ago (and re-quoted a few times), BOVs serve two functions in factory cars: (1) mask flutter noise; (2) recirculate air to avoid overfuelling in AFM engines. (2) is moot anyway because if you have deceleration fuel cut, you don't need to trick the AFM. (1) is the single biggest reason. Imagine your average joe driving this brand new series 6 RX-7 off the factory floor with the flutter noise every gear change. He would be straight back to the Mazda dealership asking if he has piston slip or has done a head gasket. Laughing Service intervals increase because manufacturing techniques have improved. Are the failures your engineer friend speaks about the shaft snapping or the comp wheel shearing off? Because if what people are saying about BOVs is true then this is the kind of catastrophic damage you would expect. Those old nissans develop turbo oil seal leaks. This is not necessarily consistent with the allegations made about BOVs. Improved seal life is more consistent with the introduction of synthetic oils IMO, than it is the introduction of BOVs. If what your friend is alleging about BOVs is true, they would not last 60,000km. The sound is not caused by 'vibrations at the turbine blades'. The turbine blades are on the exhaust side, first of all, and second of all, there is no evidence that these vibrations are sufficient to cause any damage. You don't need much vibration to get fan blades to chop up sound. Tell him to go to his electric cooling fan in his house and yell into it. The sounds chops up. Now see if the fan comes loose and starts spinning around the room because he yelled into it. Confused go put your 500W subwoofer in front of the fan and it still won't ruin it. Not a valid comparison considering the speed at which the blades are turning, but still worthwhile considering the material a turbo is made of and the much smaller diameter of the wheel. Once again, he, like everyone else who is pro-BOV, has completely neglected what is happening on the other side of the turbo. When you take your foot off the throttle, whether or not you have a BOV, the turbine will slow down simply because it longer has the strong pulses to keep it spinning at that speed. Why does this sudden slowing down not also ruin a turbo when running a BOV? The pressure on the exhaust side would drop rapidly so the resistance to motion on the side of the turbo must also decrease. Any sudden decrease in speed on the comp side is met with less resistance on the exhaust side, so the stresses (if any) on the turbo is far less than what is being claimed. If no BOV does cause damage, it cannot be due to the turbo rapidly slowing down. It must be due to 'something else', no explanation of which has satisfied me so far.

QUOTE=MR R32]Would like to launch that car... Looks like it would fall over Doesn't "M-Spec" have the exact same spoiler?
-
I need 5 GARUNTEED buyers. Then we can start! Cheers
-
Hi< When the R32 landed from japan with standard turbo and ecu i ran 1.3bar all day all night without a worry, and this was thrashing the baby! You dont have to monitor our kits, they are totaly safe. Just refil the compartment ever bar of fuel. We make the best kits in the world garunteed!!! And at a fair price of around $650. There has been no other kits that compare! You will be amazed, no monitoring and garuneted quality custom made kits. Just run stock boost ( around 10psi) if you want to be safe on the stock turbo dude, or else youll pop it Cheers
-
Water Injection is a differnt levell, results into many things. For example run 14psi on a stock R32 Turbo , it is BOUND to blow up on the track. You cannot compare temperature's on cars with and without WI. Run WI on a R32 you could run 1bar on the track garunteed. EGT should drop allot with WI. I bet Sydneykid uses WI on his RACE CARS with CDI to run more boost and cool the engine down! Just dont buy dodgey WI kits, PM me if your seriously interested!! Cheers Petar.
