I have a similar problem that sometimes appears. I will come to a stop and the engine will idle and sort of surge or hunt from the 500 to 900 rpm range. If i then just tap the throttle again it goes away. My engine is totally stock. Suspect the AFM?

Just remobe the whole thing first from the door and connect it to the opposite side to make sure it is the motor.

I use Mobile 1 0w40. Costs me all of $0 a Litre and i have about 20 Litres stockpiled in my car port, it helps working in a workshop. I have never had a prob with it. The person i baught my car from was using penzoil (rubbish) and with the Mobil i noticed the engine free up. I work at an auto 1 on the weekend for extra cash and alot of guys who work at repco/auto1 and so on dont have a clue about cars or spare parts other than Falcons or commodores. KamikazeR33, whoever told you to use Penzoil 20W60 is part of the 'there are no other cars other than falcons and commodores' psyche that ussually work in auto1/repco/supercheap stores.

its not the mirror. I have run a wire from the back of the switch to the same wire in the loom on the door and the mirror works fine. so somewhere between the door jam plug. Has anyone ever had the large door plug stuff up on them?

My electric mirror adjustment isnt working on the right side. After some investigation i found there is a damaged wire going from the switch to the mirror motor. The mirror plug has 5 wires. The one i found to be damaged is the Purple wire with a Black trace. Has anyone ever had a similar problem? Is it more likely to be the plug in the door jam. Also is there an easier way to access the plug/loom in the foot well/door jam? It is incredibly difficult to get to.

For ages now my drivers side mirror has been stuffed. No adjustment other than folding the actual mirror in. Anyway on the way home had to adjust the mirror manually and it was raining. So i decided to take the door trim of and just see whats going on. Tought it can only be either the motor/switch/wiring. Anyway it turned out to be one of the wires somewhere between the door plug on the body and the window switch (which is a bitch of a loom to fix wires). My one peice of advice is that if you decide to take the plug out that goes from the door to the body, when you plug it back in make sure you hold the female part on the body side because if you dont it will probably pop out into the sheet metal in the foot well. I found a few extra joints in my arms and wrists getting it back in. What a pain in the ass.

I have a Mini-Z silver r34, Its actually a fairly high quality scale body for a little RC car. Well it used to be good, a fair bit of its body is broken/missing now. Also a few 1/10 RC skyline bodys, an r34 and the R33 LM car, both of wich arent to good for my nitro car as they make the thing want to take off but look good flying around on an electric RC car. I havent got any skyline scale models as such yet but maybe in the future. Whats the best way to paint a scale model kit? Is it possible to get a decent finish with a brush? Havent got a little spray gun. -
I have a friend who went to get his car raised but the workshop couldnt do it because they didnt have the tein spanners, what is so special about the spanners?

Came across some interesting info today to do with the F1 silly season. This may sound odd but for financial reasons of FIAT wanting to float ferrari in 2005, Ralf Schumacher and Jaques Villeneuve driving with M Schumacher on the pit wall with Webber at Williams. Remember, you saw it here first.

I think having a dad who races and has money is the best way to get into the sport. Paul Morris's dad owns his team, the kelly brothers have very weatlhy parents who now own a team, that rodney forbes guy. I think there is a few others. Then again if it wasnt for parents like them who have the money to spend on motorsport alot of racing in Australia racing might not exist or be anywhere near as strong.

there is a digital input in the r33, id say there would be in the r32. On the r33 is a yellow wire with a green trace. look up a wiring diagram or a pin designation diagram of the r32 ecu. Will show you on there.

Like a5h said, there is a red late model Mustang with the plates "JESUS". Thats really doesnt suit a Mustang, although a mustang is sort of related to a donkey which was jesus's ride of choice apparently. There is a BMW going around with the plate "HABIBS". pretty lame but kinda funny.

I know of a guy who drives in the konica series. He has an ex ozemail car and apparently he paid in the $250,000 region but gets support from ozemail. No motor racing is cheap. Id love to get involved in a F3 team one of these days but it seems very limmited here in Sydney. The national open wheeler series seem to be in a bit of a state at the moment here in australia. Look at the f3 Euroseries, that is some of the best racing in the world. Anyway, sorry to stray off the subject.

I would like to see JV in a ferrari, I guess to finish off what his dad started in a way. One of ferrari's most famous drivers but never won a championship for them (i dont think). I think he still has it but just needs a decent car. Was a big mistake him going to BAR. It has been an awesome season as well. Its the best one i can remember, not that i can remember all that many. 03' has surpassed 99'. I think it is Montoya and Schuey now. Raikkonen has slipped and hasnt looked like he can win a race for a while now, and he needs to be able to win to get schuey from here. 3 of the next 4 tracks are Ferrari/Bridgstone tracks. Monza been the only track i think the Williams will have and advantage at. As much as id love to see the Montoya or Ralf win the championship i think it will still be a M.schumacher title but a Williams constructors. With the silly season i can definatly see coulthard getting the arse at the end of the year, i dont really think he has anywhere else to go either. I dont know who would replace him though. Montoya isnt happy at Williams i know that. There are issues between him and ralf, but if he keeps winning im sure he will stay at Williams. If Montoya does go however, say to replace Coulthard i could very much see Williams buying out Mark Webbers contract as they will have plenty of cash left over from Mclarens buy of Montoya. I doubt Barrichello will have his contract renewed, i dont think it would be wise to give Massa the seat. Id like the seat to go to Fisichella or JV. It was right to get rid of Pizzonia from jaguar, he had time to perform and he couldnt, he had a few years experience as a test driver in f1 and i dont think he has any excuse to be so far behind Webber. I hope wilson performs and get the full time drive, seems like a good guy and got a bloody good friday time at hockenheim. My thoughts anyway. Lastly, how do you like my action replay F1 avatar? needs some work still.
