Cold will make it harder. Heat loosens things up, softens metal and expands things. the sump will expand more than the plug. I havent seen in an RB sump but most engines the plug just goes into the sump and thats it. So is the plug just turning but not going in or out?

just read through this thread again. Sorry can you just explain this one for me? You are doing youre HSC in 6 months and you still have time to teach piano at least 10 hours a week? My sister is doing her HSC and she really only has a few hours on the weekend. When i did mine it was the same, i had to quite all my jobs to study. Also, if you are prepared to spend 19 grand on insurance (still dont believe it) cou could just get a little crap box and save for 2 or 3 years and buy a R34 GTR! My final comments: If you are prepeard to spend such exuberant amounts of money on insurance alone just buy a GTR and do what Blitz said. Do a driver training course, and also make sure you look at a few more important factors of the car other than just the colour. When you get in a few months id like to see it and im sure plenty of people here would out at a cruise or something. Make us eat our words. So i guess we can all expect to see you in a GTR/GTT ina few months right?

this is hillarious, i think most of these have already been mentioned. 1. Take the hair dryers off them & see how hard they go then . SKYLINES SUCK ASS they are the s**ttest car on da road. They r so ugly ppl think they are cool but they crack heads a lot cos tey are s**t. 4. v6 vn's keep up with 180sx's till 80 [when they are running stock boost], f**king hate them! they (skylines) are more common then commodores now... There are actually a fair few positive comments in there from the holden people though. That car is awesome, id love to see it racing some day. Id like to see a GTR somewhere back on the map in Australian Motorsport. I think about the only place they get any sort of coverage is in targa tasmania.

The drive was good once we split up from the other group and went the back way. Havent driven like that for a long time. The track was good as well. Only the one cop down conrod at the very end there. Had hit the speed limiter a few laps earlier down there as well. Lucky! Put some decent hot spots on the rotors as well, probably trying to make that corner at the end of conrod one of the first times down the mountain. Racing around the track there has given me a seriously big itch to do some track days. Might need to imporve the car a bit first though. I was taking it very easy over blind corners and when any other traffic was around obviously. It was all good.

Last one, Im sure some much better ones will appear.

I found a heap Of JOMO (a petrol station) receipts, 2 of those packs of disposable chop sticks, about 3 photos and some pens. All were In the drivers door. They had fallen through a small crack at the bottom of the drivers door trim and i found it all while installing some new speakers.

My plans for tonight have fallen throughand i thought i might come and check out the rice. I probably cant make it to the first screening so i was to go to just the second one would i still be able to see much or do u get whats left in the corner if you come late?

My car was out the front of my house for about 10 mins this afternoon. I went out for a drive and noticed my bonnet was rattling. I get out and notice a nice ding on the tip of the bonnet. I also have an expensive alarm on my car. It didnt even go off. I then proceded to break into my car to test it (its easty to pop the locks on skylines) and still no alarm. Jacked up the car to see if the wheels could be stollen, dropped it as fast as possible, No alarm at all! Very pissed off.

The japanese GT championship is awesome. I saw a race on video once. Other than just those cars there are plenty of mad Group 2 cars as well. Some very pumped s15s and so on. I wish they would show more international motortsports such as this on tv here in australia. At least on pay tv. ie, Japan Gt championship, German DTM, F3000, British F3 the lemans cars from europe and the USA. I could go on for ever. We get nothing here in australia. Just the V8 dinosours.

I ended up down in Wollongong on Monday so i though id just put up some pics. There was plenty of rice but a few nice cars cruising around.

Are you really sure you can afford a GTR? Not a model, im talking the real thing. I also believe that $1900 a year on insurance is actually well over 1k per month. Its $1580. Sorry but i think youre talking crap. (sorry to all for been negative).

My friend with the r32 will just be comming with me in my car. He ran up the back of someone over the weekend.

This is a stupid question. I may come, but it will prolly be in a friends r32. Only thing is there will be 3 people in the car. I have never been to a drive in before so im guessing it will be pretty hopless in the back of an r32.

I had a auto sr20 NA silvia. I did the manual conversion and it was the best money i spent on the thing, still gutless though. Cost me $1300 in parts. Sorry a bit off the topic.
