Hey all, Im currently looking for a fairly clean r32 GTR. Im basically looking for a 93 model with under 100,000k's. My budget is $24500 but all GTRs i have seen at the dealers around sydney in that price range are in absoloutly pathetic condition. Im not kidding when i have seen handfuls of rust and cars with interiors that need a complete re-trim along parra road going for around the $25000 marks. There is also almost none for sale privatly at the moment it seems in Sydney. I have seen some nice tight examples in the dealers but they seem to be asking for around the $27000+ marks which i dont have and in all honesty i dont think the cars are worth. I have even seen some of the dealers asking for low 30's for clean but fairly unremarkable cars. On the whole though there seem to be very few nice ones around. If they are around i cant find them. Am i been unreasonable trying to find what im after in sydney with my budget?

That is more than likely the worst spelling and grammar i have ever seen. I never thought anyone could spell good so badly!@ Mate the dictionary or maybe some education would do you a world of gud! Also with the car you wont sell that for $300, just ask for a six pack or a case of beer and im sure you will get rid of it. Gud Luck!

City driving i get about 420ks from the tank. Highway i get over 500ks.

The engine is stock so i would say it is making the claimed power figure of around 206kw at the engine. There is no service history and very few imports come with any sort of useful service history but i am a mechanic and i inspected the car when i bought it and couldnt find any evidence to say the k's are fake, and believe me i looked well. So as far i can tell the k's are genuine.

Yeah, its a nice car and i think the price is more than reasonable so thats why im not going to move on that price. Too bad your all from Melb!

I think it depends on the dealership. Some nissan dealers down here in Sydney dont want anything to do with imports. And just because they have manuals doesnt mean they know what they are doing. Im guessing there wouldnt be many people up in Cairns with experience on later model imports.

A friend of mine just moved to cairns and he has a V35. Its due for a service and i was wondering what are some workshops that would be capable of looking after it?

Do the Nurbrgring 24 hour. Or do what i did and lend your PS2 to a friend with no life who can spend 24hours straight racing for you so you can win the F1 car! You can set some times in that that no other cars can come close to.
