Why cant there be a dedicated motorsport chanel? They could so easily fill ever hour of the week with motorsport from around the world. We miss out on so much here in australia.

Yeah, i have a dilemma with Webber and Mclaren as well. I have worked for mercedes benz for 6 years and i get alot of Mclaren merchandice and i get fed alot of Mclaren propaganda yet my fav driver (Webber) drives for my sworn enemy (BMW). Why is life so harsh???P

Webber is on the front row. I hope his race pace can be as good as his qualifing tonight. Webber has to be possibly the best qualifier on the grid. Not that that really counts for much when it comes to the racing.

There is no point using the cable as the latch on the boot lock to turn off the remote locking is flicked to the cable is disabled.

Hi, Just had an annoying problem with an R32 boot lock. The barrel in the boot lock seems to have broken on my r32 this afternoon and i had the lever for the remote opening flicked down. So i cant pop the boot from the lever and now i cant open it with the key. I need to get some things out of the boot so its a real pain. I really need to somehow change the switch on the boot lock so i can pop it from the cabin. Any ideas anyone?

Is it just me or is GT a little unrealistic with drag settings. I can totally ruin my suspension setups and my 400m times wont change a bit.

Someone slashed all my tyres at bondi junction westfield last thursday night. They were 3 weeks old and a set of decent 265's and 235's aint cheap! I sort of feel all the pain but this stuff happens in alot of places other than sydney unfortunatly.

Im also having an issue with the force pro steering wheel. The 900deg one. When you floor the accel pedal it doesnt seem to recognise it and nothing happens. You have to very slightly easy it on. Its sort or annoying. Is this is how its meant to be?

Hey im having issues with my GT4 and just wanted to see if anyone has had the same problem. After a race or a mission during the loading screen with the white cd loading symbol my gt4 seems to stall. The loading screen comes up with the cd symbol in red instead of white and it just stays loading and nothing happens. I have tried 2 gt4 discs now and the same thing has happened. It is one of the origional ps2 so its around 4 years old. Anyone got any ideas?

Im talking about tightening it. I got it off no probs and im using a 22inch snap on breaker bar so thats not an issue.

HEY everyone, This sort of relates to this thread. What are all your methods for tightening the crank pulley? Using the hand brake seems to put way to much strain on the cables/shoes or something and as i tighten the car is trying to creep forward so the crank isnt staying still. Even with someone in the car pressing hard against the brakes there is just wind up in the drive train and it isnt locking the crank. Any ideas??????????????

That is the unfortunate truth about the trade. Its also one of the reasons its hard to find a good mechanic.

Im 2 years out of my apprenticeship and my workshop wont even take an apprentice unless they have done yr12, and alot of places are like that nowdays. Id say alot of "MAD" places would have that rule. I think the 2 years in school will do you some good because i dont think you would last 2 seconds in a "MAD" place from the way you talk until you grow up a little.

I think that was the only decent little article in the magazine. I got it this arfternoon and it was a waste of $7.95. Why do they keep reporting such crap on the new GTR? I could be wrong but the picture they put in the cover just looks like some photoshop job that anyone could have done yet they proclaim it to be the "NEW GTR!". As i said, i could be wrong.

isnt the standard pump from nissan about $160? i priced one up a short while ago. Im pretty sure the N1 is alot more. I have seen performance shops selling the N1 pump for well above $300.

I have done a fair bit of driving recently with my skyline up to qld, down to Wagga Wagga and up around Mudgee and didnt have any trouble finding Optimax. I think any town with with more than 5000 people seems to have a Shell servo that has Optimax. The main thing you will have to worry about is how to get the bugs off your car.

Im pretty sure the main purpose of the slot is for dust removal. Which would mean better braking and less noise. I also am pretty sure they are also meant to be used as wear indicators as wel as the groove doesnt ussualy always go to the backing plate of the pad. And id say a normal cutting wheel would do the job, brake pads arent that hard. Have fun!
