Since we are bitchin about police i will add my 2c. About 18 months ago when i was living in a unit in Moore park 3 cars were stolen out of out "secure parking over 3 nights. All were high performance jap cars. The police didnt come any of the times, they only took incident reports over the phone. 2 nights later my alarm on my car went off, i went down to the garage only to see 3 guys running out the fire exit. I could even see their finger prints on the window off my car. Poilice still didnt come and none of the cars were ever recovered. Good work! Maybe things have improved?

Ok i know this has probably been asked a million times but im just after some feed back on this. What are people opinions on machining discs? I have replaces more sets of brake pads than i car to remember but have never machined the discs. Generally if there are grooves or bad scores or so on i have always ended up doing just replacing the discs. Now through my work i know of alot of workshops that simply machine discs as part of a pad change, i dont really aggree with this but some workshops do it. Also what procedure do people try to do when bedding in say a set of bendix pads?

5 years? if you are talking about Mark Webber he will probably be retiring in 5 years. Id say give it 6 months. You dont often get 5 years to get up to speed in F1 these days.

How did the media miss this? Id say this would be one of the most suprising driver changes in along time and it will make for a very exciting webber vs button fight next year. I just wonder what the reason behind it is? It will be interesting to hear JBs reasons because if anything BAR are more likley than not going to be a stronger team over the next seasons or two compared to Williams. Is this a step sideways? if so its a little strange. Also you would think at BAR button is the absolute #1 driver. Also strange to walk away from that.

I have a 81 Mitusbishi Sigma. I spent all weekend bogging it up and i reckon if you wanted to Gas yourself to death this is the car for you. Would take about 30 seconds to do the job with a good length of garden hose. I doubt it will pass its next rego though so i will be looking for a new shit box soon.

i tried to sell my very straigt 97' R33 gtst with a genuine 71,000ks for $22,000 a couple of months back. From the few calls i got for it the ussual response for the k's was "BRO! my brother can get one for $18,000 with only 40,000ks". It did my FKN head in so i just decided to keep it.

Hey where in sydney can i get a set of coil packs for and R32 GTST and how much am i going to be looking at? Does the R32 have a similar setup as the pair of coil packs on the R33 other than the seperate ignition module.

I always thought a convertable was a car that you could Convert. That is is just one of the worst rexs that i have ever seen with the roof hacked off. I epecially like the gas bottle up on the parcel shelf. Even the steering wheel is yellot! Someone should take Cabin to court for false advertising. Convertable WRX indeed. :spew:

Yeah im a mechanic and unfortunatly its not a standard knee reconstruction, its a little more involved. So unfortunatly i dont have any other way around it and have to sell the skyline. I might have to upgrade to a GTR once im back on my feet, thats if i ever sell this damn thing.

Ok, I have now had 2 kids come check out my car. Both straight from punchbowl and it basically went like this. Go for a drive, let them ask a few questions about the car (mosty stupid questions like, Would it do 250kmh's? how fast does it get to 100)?, tell them im looking for $25000 with one of them replying, "bro, my brother can get one like this for $18000". I hate selling cars. The only reason in selling it is because i have to have a knee reconstruction and i will be off work for over 2 months so i wont be able to afford my repayments. So this is going to become a pain in the ass im guessing.

i saw the crash a few times on the news/sports tonight and im sure the footage will make the targa video or rpm at some stage.
