Ok, i need to sell my car. I have had it in the trading post for the past few weeks and have gotten 1 whole call. Now i have sold a few cars before through the trading post and ussually i cant stop the damn phone ringing. Anyone had any similar experiences recently or have any tips on good places to place adds?

Procar isnt dead. The Sandown round is still on. I think they are restructuring. Still, that may just be delaying the obvious. 24hour will be a loss as well.

I was down in the gong for a 21st on sat so checked it all out on sunday. The cops i would have to say were pretty good. the only time people seemed to get hassled was when they did a stupidly big burnout which is pretty understandable. Some very nice cars there as well and a good mix of v8's and jap imports.

I dont think any secure parking garages in apartments are worth much in sydney. 4 high perfomance jap cars were stolen from my old flat in Zetland (near moore park) over 3 nights in so called "security" parking. They even had a go at my car but my alarm system saved the car.

I have done many heads in my time and i would recommend getting the head tested and an engine shop. I have had it happend twice with a head gasket job when the customer didnt want to get the head tested and the heads had warped due to overheating. Both times it was repairable but ended up costing them twice the labour.

I have been using mobil 1 0w40 synthetic for 2 years on my R33 and the engine has never ran anything other than perfectly

Why does anyone take any notice of this guy? Although i dont post often i have been reading through the forums for a while now and have basically programmed myself just to skip any posts made by BACKUP. (i never used to be able to understand any of them anyway). Dammit, where the hell have I been? If i knew that was on i would have gone just to see how stupid people really can be. The boobies would have been a bonus as well.

I did a clutch recently on an r32 and it had the same problem with the noises. With the new clutch and thrust bearing it was perfect again. Id say if you left it it will maybe damage the pressure plate. It would be making such a bad noise by this time though that you would have to change it before any damage is done.

There is always going to be a "click" situations when you have a core goup of guys who are all mates and others who are newbies. I always found just introducing yourself works quite ok and everyone is really friendly which is the reason i try to make it to the occasional cruise. Seeing a bunch of other nice skylines is also a reason.

A shame about the Oh My Gtr and its drive shaft. What sort of times would that car be capable of running? (the owner is on the forums i assume)

I was at the Gp and i have to say it was a bloody boring race. Actually a bloody boring weekend compared to last year. The Ferraris were visually faster than any other car and they looked like they were set up beautifully. I think BAR will be the suprise of the year judging on the melb gp performance. Webber drove beyond his car more than any other driver and other than that it looks like it will be a repeat of 2002.

I like that idea alot. Nissan should join forces with the creators of robotech to create the ultimate Gtr/robot soldier. I think it would have issues getting into the japanese gt races though.

I wouldnt be suprised if they arent listed. I think they generally just deal with workshops and car clubs.
