anyone have a pic of this in their r32?

I've got an auto r32 (1993). Is the manual ecu compatible with an auto car? are there any differences eg idle, fuel maps etc?

Is lubing the starter motor a DIY job?

Recently the r32 developed a weird problem This happens every now and then but when i try to start the car, i get that loud screech (the one you hear if you tried cranking the engine whilst its ON). However i'm getting it when the car is OFF. After a couple of attempts, its starts normally. Does anyone know whats going on? Cheers

Thanks guys. i just replaced the MAIN fuse and everything is back to normal except the headunit. Is there a seperate fuse for that?

Just changed the battery since old one died. I happened to have hooked the terminals the wrong way around for a seconds, until i realised and swapped them back :bonk: Anyways the car starts as usual but the air con, radio, clock, brake lights etc dont seem to be working even though the car is running. As soon as i remove the battery the car dies. IIRC the car was able to run, even if i removed the battery? Anyone know whats going on exactly? Cheers Z

yeh at the moment they're sitting on the triangular bit behind the side mirrors but they seem to drown out the other speakers. abo bob, can ya let us know how you go with ur set up?

At the moment my system consists of a 12" sub in the boot + amp and up front a set of splits are going in. Just wondering wheres the best place to mount the tweeters in the r32?

sorta like my prob on cold mornings.. car cranks but will splutter (sp)? until i tap the gas and then it'll idle properly.. been happening ever since i got the car. Dunno why though :confused:
