This was mentioned in another post but I thought it important to make a seperate issue. I am interested to find a iPod integration solution for the bose system. I understand the US have kits that do this, however they utilise the SAT button that we do not have. Text appears on the factory LED display (not the LCD screen for those with the nav option).

John, Quite concerning; please let us know how you get on. How on earth did this happen? Is the car standard? I can only imagine what you are going through. Have you swapped the ECU with another standard one to test that? Have you tried the 350z forums at all, maybe thy might be able to give you a few tips? Best of luck!

Would +27 front and +24 rear look ok? Wheels are Volk GT-C

Ok I am looking at 19x8.5 front and 19x9.5 rear wheels to put on my v35 coupe with brembos. What offset should I be looking at? I have been given +29 front and +37 rear from one place and another with +27 front and +24 rear. I would like a nice dish, but I want to be sure to clear the brembos (if other offset fitments are better please advise). Help would greatly appreciated!

Hello all. I came across this a little while ago, I thought you would all be interested.

Scathing, I think that NO RSPECT was referring to an Audi A4 Quattro turbo, as in the B6 series (approx 2003) as it is somewhere in the ballpark of a V35 (for price, size and age). If so the Audi has a higher luxury status, finish etc, but only a 1.8L turbo which if you pile the money into it with mods (chip, exhaust, maybe even larger KKK turbo etc.) will be making the same power the V35 does stock. Certainly a car worth comparing to in terms of age, status, refinement and day to day drivability.

Thanks Frank, well aware of the Murano’s use of the VDO system. I was not talking about the software, but purchasing the complete navigation unit as fitted to the Murano. Unplug and discard the original V35 box, retain the screen and plug it all into the Murano running gear. If it can be confirmed then I am there. I am aware there would be pain in getting there, but it may tick all the boxes. Someone needs to get an extended test drive of a Murano and give it to Chris Rogers for several hours. Maybe just maybe it will work. Here’s trying anyway.

What about the Nissan Murano system? Same engine, platform, Bose system etc. Have scene the navigation and the screen appears to be the only item that is differently setup (ie not pop up (I am sure the two could be matted together)). Should plug straight into the loom and run everything we need along with the navigation and Australian maps.

A picture of one of these installed on a R33 would be fantastic. Someone must have a few shots of it all set up. Thank you in advance.

Hello all, I will be there. This is my first post on the forum (after many weeks of reading) so I don't really know anyone.
