  1. spotted a white 33 s2 on grenfell st around 5 pm - plates R33T
  2. just swap one with someone with a S1 r33, just to test it. they are interchangeable between DE and DET
  3. Eliminate the possibilities one at a time. Swap the AFM - if that doesnt solve it, move onto the next item. Check the ECU loom (and even try swapping one) make sure there is no dodgy looking wiring (eg. cut wires with bad connections). I'd also definitely be inspecing coils, plugs, ignitor module, even fuel pump. It is a 17 year old car - maybe even your injectors are worse for wear... Maybe even try doing a diagnostic / check for error codes hope you sort it out mate, good luck
  4. yep, you can say they are the same. apart from the obvious
  5. i just hope they catch/caught the piece of shit that stole it because he's only going to steal another
  6. this theif must be a complete f**king moron... ill be heading out for a drive in the sedan shortly, will keep an eye out too. (as I'll be around eastern and north eastern suburbs)
  7. f#$%! These cars are getting stolen all over the place... very sorry to hear Rodney. were you home when it was nicked?
  8. if he's not using the oem boost soleniod, the 25DE wiring loom is also fine for the DET conversion. Done it ourselves. prawln: Is the 25DET a S1 or S2? AFM's between DE and DET motors are exactly the same, although the pink stickered AFM you have is for a series 2, and i don't think they are interchangable with S1. We did the same conversion in my cousin's 33. At first it was running like absolute shit. All new parts installed - plugs, FMIC, pod, turbo back exhaust, 34 NEO turbo, walbro pump, aluminium radiator, new plugs, coils etc. He was running a little higher boost (around 8psi) and the car was cutting out exactly like in yours in the video. Lowered the boost down to 5psi and the problem wasnt so bad, but it was still running rough as guts. tried everything we could, interchanging parts from another turbo 33, checking for boost leaks, consult, you name it. anyhow, problem solver: Z32 ECU + NISTUNE + dyno tune! no more cuts, smooth through the revs, 12psi - gained 60something rwkw! and she f**kin flies. not saying you need to run out and buy Nistune, but still, check for the obvious - any loose plumbing, BOV recirculation, try another ECU. You'll get there mate.
  9. nothing but a liability that bloke. hope they piss him off
  10. about 9pm spotted a white 32 gtst on lyons rd holden hill, then a white 34 gtt on lower north east crossing darley road
  11. you can work that one out for yourself... i'd have a lot less worry parking my car in an enclosed car port - but if a theif really wants to steal it, they'll find a way in and take it
  12. and...? most driveways are outdoor if I'm not mistaken...
  13. Pretty much any skyline parked outdoors in view of the public is asking for trouble these days. Completely ridiculous. I am astounded by the level of scum out there... Absolutely no peace of mind parking in the open and returning to an untouched vehicle
  14. I had a similar problem - From memory, I snapped the actual fasteners that are part of the grille itself. (ie. dont think they are a replaceable clip). Not sure if yours is the same ^+1, effective and you wont see em.
  15. red 35 GTR on north tce city this morning around 9am. gave it a bit of a launch off from the lights at the hackney rd intersection heading north east. fantastic!
  16. look for brembos. one of the easier giveaways for the untrained eye - still even though, you could throw brembos on any skyline
  17. +1 Paint the bootlid.... why? if the spoiler sits directly on top of the holes etc. left from the stock spoiler... All that should need painting is the new wing... I reckon visit the panel beater to show him the spoiler, or speak to one who knows exactly what you're after / has installed these wings before
  18. spotted a white 33 sedan across the road from the airport in a carpark, lowered, nice wide wheels, looked tough!
  19. hahaha ^that too. they must feel like they've jumped into a modern version of their old 202 triple webber powered torrie or something
  20. agreed Steve - hope your mate is coughing up $ for the replacement panels Peter. lol Ben - i've let my old man drive my car, he drives it like he stole it. Bue he wouldnt even think about the drifting bullshit.
  21. was it a true accident or stupidity? If it was the second, your mate is an idiot for disrespecting your ride
  22. love the look of this thing: RB30! alright thats enough....
  23. clean and stock-ish silver 32 vspec II on Newton Rd this morning, very nice
  24. spotted a black 33 with big chrome rims on hackney rd this morning, blonde chick driver, plates SKR-033
