  1. Generally a lot of the factory seals perish over time, and quite badly when your car lands in a country with a complete different climate. I had this problem with my old s1 33 (never got around to fixing it though), and you do see this on a lot of other 33s. Solution i'm leaning towards; pull apart tail light completely, remove all old junk sealant, give all bits a very good clean, and then re-seal everything with reccommended headlight adhesive.
  2. I remember reading somewhere on the forum that a dodgy boot seal can cause water to leak around your tail lights. Is your boot seal in decent condition?
  3. Model in particular that i have compared and seen with my own eyes is the 33 s2; Non turbo & turbo AFMs - both pink sticker items, exact same model numbers.
  4. When i was in the gold coast last year I seen one of these, identical. May be this exact car. Nice buy! Any special specs on these TK models? (apart from cosmetic bits of course)
  5. definitely looks best from the side. front bar i particularly dont like, looks cheap
  6. try searching www.nissansilvia.com or assumably for a quikcer answer, ring your local nissan dealer and get them to put you through to parts sales and ask them
  7. You shouldnt have any tps issues. Are you using an R33 engine loom?
  8. nice car Michael! They do a decent job, no complaint from me whatsoever. They sometimes might miss the odd little spot as they aim to get the job done in a short amount of time. I always strike a bit of a deal with the duty manager there (short indian or middle eastern looking dude), pay cash and he gives me a little bit of a discount and a free coffee... he stalls my car every time i go there (lol). There were two of us there yesterday - me in my 33 4d and my cousin with his 33 GTS4-t, paid 30 bucks each for wash inside and out + a free short black each. If the place is heaps busy, we usually pay up and head across the road for a pint at the O.G.
  9. not sure Dave - more info here (in Jap): http://www.hot-rod.co.jp/archives/616 edit - more images:

  13. incorrect. they are the same. Well for R33's anyway...
  14. Same dude. Paint code QM1 polar white
  15. Black 34 turning off o.g onto north east rd around midday. Had a SAU sticker on the rear quarter window, white starcorps (i think) was in the flufferz joint getting my car washed (feeling slack!). Then a black v35 gt popped in for a wash shortly after, tall middle aged blonde chick driver
  16. grind the karnts off. especially exhaust bolts... dont waste any more time on trying to un bolt them - easily and cheaply replaced with new ones

  19. hey Owen - seeing as nobody's been able to reply; i take it youve been reading the DIY on the 34 manual conversion using 33 parts. ie: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Di...&p=2606536# I assume the plugs on the gearbox for the reverse lights and speedo are in the same physical location of the gearbox. have you obtained the correct connector plugs for the manual box? (because these will be different) also; have you swapped your speedo cluster to a manual item? L
  20. haha cops arse Dave!!! You'll be surprised... people just hit the update button. Seen it many times on friends and family members PC's and ask 'why the f did you install safari'... to a reply of 'what's safari?' On one occasion with my old pc - I left it running for a couple of days straight while ripping down a big torrent. Came home from work and found bounjour and safari both installed... now unless my cat decided to jump on and have a game of solitare, how the f**k did that manage to install! edit - bloody swearing filter
  21. it's different thats for sure! seen it in a hyper rev mag i really want the final konnexion lip spoiler!
  22. by series 3 do you mean NEO motor? A) yes it should - if you get your hands on an ecu suited to the same model, but from a manual B) a 1995 R33 ECU may belong to a series 2 rb25det. these are interchangable between s1 and s2's. If you have a NEO motor, with the NEO loom; no good. 33 ECU's have different pinouts.
  23. My missus has a 3rd gen (i think) i phone, i like it a lot. Its never had any instability problems. I had a cool ipod nano around a year ago, worked great for around 8 months. After it kept freezing and doing unusual shit. I'd do every kind of reset under the sun, software updates, the lot. ended up crushed in the vice in my shed, and I refused to fork out any of my earnings on an apple device again. iTunes is f**king shit as well. Made my pc run like it was on valium... always with the bloody software updates. I kept letting it update, until one day i went and plugged in the nano (before the vice incident), and then it tells me the latest version of iTunes was too 'new' for my device, and wiped my library. f**k you apple. And to the not so literate PC user, go ahead with the updates and you'll end up with Safari, Bonjour and all sorts of other apple shit. I refuse to install iTunes on my new PC!
