  1. nice rims, although i reckon the silver circle around the studs looks a bit odd
  2. you can remove the pads without taking off the caliper mate red would look alright, but how bout silver? might look good behind the black rims MS paint shopped:
  3. fantastic, congrats Ben and Janene!
  4. you could probably adapt the series 1 guards but you'll need to change everything else that goes with them - bonnet, lights, grill etc etc etc so not really practical
  5. i just bought a 33 sedan a couple of weeks ago, going to paint and fit the pods with factory sideskirts eventually what rear bar do you have for sale mate?
  6. The factory sedan pods are definitely longer than the factory coupe pods Mick. The correct pods will sit flush with the vertical outline of the rear bumper I have a set of sedan pods here, just lined them up on my cousins 33 gts4 (coupe). They sit about an inch over the outline of the rear bumper
  7. spotted a dark coloured 33 GTR with gold BBS rims turning off Hackney Rd onto Botanic Rd was either purple or black
  8. +1 ^ those oil coolers mounted in place of the grill look pretty untasteful. but would prob work best (being mounted where they are [and an ARC unit]) as Ryan says
  9. well done mate, these cars just keep going ang going with a bit of maintenance, and they can take quite a beating (from experience). if you're laid back about it's future life overall; keybangers. and weld that diff up. entertainment central! lol. dont think ill ever grow up...
  10. I had a similar engine start problem with my s1 33. After being parked outside for an amount of time in the sun on a stinking hot day, it would take quite a while for the engine to start (which was f'ing annoying!) But once it kicked over, i didnt have any idle issues. I reckon Lance is correct about the igniter module in my case (as it was a series 1), although i am 99.9% sure the s2 33's dont have one. I'd definitely look into blind_elk's suggestion, and do a bit of research about cleaning up the AAC valve - check the DIY section of the forum.
  11. the little toyota 3k motor will probably run on canola oil! nah, ring up your local auto parts store - they should be able to tell ya all you need to know about these little beasts, and points should pretty easy to get a hold of. might need to give the carbie a spray with some stuff to help her kick over too you could always have a browse around the rollaclub site as well.
  12. i was walking down king william and ^SPOTTED the scandy 2hunj turning off Hindley around midday, looks great! Sounds nice too
  13. ^ who, this dude: http://www.discogs.com/artist/Luciano -great techno/minimal DJ he is. Havent heard much of his production work but nah, thats actually my real name on the birth certificate... named after my grandfather! i just go by Luke Luciano <insertsurnamehere> for ID's, accounts etc
  14. back in action mate, well done you have got some real patience Mitch! I would've lost my shit a long time ago if this were my situation qft!
  15. on another note; Anyone heading to BDO 2010??? 'sold out' already. Hard to believe. I think its the usual promoter stunt so people to throw themselves at a second round release of tickets I'm pretty keen to go, but not a ticket holder yet... VERY keen to watch a set from this guy. Sasha hasn't played in Adelaide for YEARS! He's playing all BDO's. Although I'd just hope they give him the closing set, and for at least 2hours - pretty pointless giving a progressive DJ (and the world's biggest) anything less!
  16. dubstep is cool! as a dubstep producer you could probably adapt so many different styles of sounds - techno, prog, and real grimey stuff like that above^ i reckon its a pretty big movement of a genre and will always have a good following - like drum & bass. Rather than like some genres that die in the arse i.e breaks... Unless, it becomes commercialised and overdone like breaks did, then things can head downhill!
  17. you definitely can Mitch i think its around 30 bucks or so for one of the short term permits http://www.sa.gov.au/upload/franchise/Tran...tration/MR2.pdf
  18. nice engine mods, but what a cosmetic disaster!
  19. not really at this stage. one mate of mine (whos supposed to be coming with me to that dubstep night) would have probably been keen, but he's moving back overseas for two years shortly. But i will definitely ask him!
  20. yeah i know what you mean - thats the thing when i've used the big pioneers - i just play with what i know, faders, EQs and maybe a little effect here and there. But i have no idea how to use the samplers etc. Sucks because you're not really using it to its full capabilities! pioneer gear holds value very well, you should get a decent $ return when you sell your 400
  21. haha awesome! shit, a 700 (digital 600 basically) and a 400? thats a couple of $k right there....!!!! i'm definitely considering 400's when its time to venture into CDJ land, the 1000's are just so bloody expensive... but probably worth every cent though. that 700 must have some f'ing great features
  22. have a look at my FB profile Mitch. i bought James' 33 sedan - it has CCs, fat one on rear, slim on front
  23. I have seen something similar in an old mate's car - (s1 33 gtst auto). It adjusted something at the front of the car, under/behind the front bar. I too mentioned "wtf?" at the time. But it definitely used to adjust, you could hear the little motor going off - similar to the sound of your mirrors folding in and out.
  24. Craig, how'd the halloween sessions go last night mate?> i should of asked ya to record the mixes!!!
  25. that is pretty awesome Steve! is that main guitar actually a recording of your own, or something you've created entirely with the NI guitar rig?
