true Age, him going would be a great loss. Even though he didn't see much of the 2009 season on field for port, he's still one of the best players in the game
  4. spotted a nice purple 33 GTR with gold volk rims at intersection of Fullarton/Magill/Payneham Rd around 2pm, P plate driver
  5. That's some serious shit Damo, especially after the rock throwing at moving car incidents in the last few years. Make sure he reports it to the cops mate
  6. hahaha that was gold Abe only thing they missed is a cannon
  7. tried going through alternate url like ht.net weezy?
  8. or maybe a magna or a CBR, and hang around a nissan forum like a bad smell
  9. thats it. you should be able to find a 'full' version quite easily
  10. If you just want to make a basic mix with some house tracks or something Damo, you can try NI Traktor DJ studio, basically two virtual decks with pitch, a cross fader, EQs, and some basic effects. You can record a whole mix set and it will write it for you as a wav file. Pretty cool to stuff around with. Once you have the written wav file from Traktor, use Nero to burn it to CD - use the Nero Wav editor (like the guys have said above) to cut it up in desired spots, tick 'no pause between tracks' when you go to burn to CD. Ive been using Nero wav editor like this for ages when cutting up DJ sets and burning em to CD
  11. gotta love a bit of tech house did you get some turntables as well as the mixer Craig? I'm going to do a digital haul on Stompy.com this week. Gonna buy some of the latest deep house that hasn't been mass produced and is a little hard to find on vinyl
  12. true, majority of them do Dave. i posted a pic of one in the spotted or wasteland thread back in the day, was parked across from my house, White 33 GTS-T S2, BN side skirts and rear bar, 400R front, dished meshies with some nice camber, and the guards looked slightly pumped. I sorta like it. Still see it regularly. will have to see if i can dig the pic up
  13. +1, BN kits looks terrible without that Damo
  14. i like my stockies better
  15. Nice Steve! i want to look at modifying sounds & making my own, but theres a lot to learn from a newbie point of view. That'll be far down the track i reckon A good drum sampling/sequence kit would be cool. Something like Native Instruments - Battery 3. Im happy mucking around with FL at the moment though, very cool app
  16. lol, cheers mate! yep, it definitely works. (its cracked) It came with the very basic VSTs (like A1 Synth - which is quite cool), but hardly any samples. Actually came as a bundle with Nuendo and Steinberg Wavelab too. They all work as far as I've seen. Pretty sure I kept a copy on my ext HD - it's at work, so ill get back to you

consider how dodgy the weather was that saturday night? in 07, the two finals games Port played here at AAMI vs West Coast and North Melbourne were pretty much full house... it is common knowledge that the crows have far more members anyhow.
  18. yeah I'm going to definitely look into getting more sounds & packs. These ones are pretty damn ordinary like you say! A guy I know was supposed to send me an invite me to join demonoid - still waiting for it... prick I've wanted to make tunes for a long time now, finally starting. So many ideas!!!!! FL is a good starting point imo. A mate of mine gave me Cubase SX3, but it lacks a little without some good VSTs
  19. that'll be gold! I like the Jungle Neck track a lot, its very tripped out... im working my way through learning some of the basic fruityloops functions. I've played around with it a little each night, started building a track last night. Building a basic electro house track. Keeping it very simple. Will post up a clip when its progressed a little more. I really cant stand electro house, but a lot of the sounds and samples I've come across in FL belong to the genre...
  20. I'm jealous mate, they are awesome mixers! I just started having a play around with fruity loops tonight, awesome application hey! Have you still got any tracks posted up Craig? I remember you posting a couple up that you made somewhere...
  21. came across this today Craig Prodigy - Take Me to the Hospital (Rusko Remix) sounds dope!
  22. that's what its all about!!! That's one big reason why I stopped going to clubs as regularly as i used to. Shit music, wanker crowds, and sound systems that sound like something put together by a 16 year old bedroom dj... Crown and sceptre really looks on the up & up with these weekender events. The RESO gig was very well promoted imo. That'd be awesome if you get your hands on that set too
  23. Craig how was the RESO gig on Saturday mate?
  24. lol, u got it Dan edit- hahaha, too true Pete. I'll have to get the old 04 cassette off my dad! must have a watch to re-live that great day and temporarily forget about this years embarrassments!
  25. as in what work I do Damo? Web administrator basically. A lot of my work is hosted online as you'd imagine! Been in this job about 4 months now. I put in an expression of interest to act in the position for around 6 weeks (as the previous worker resigned), and then had to apply when it was formally advertised. went through selection process & won it. Still in the same department as my old position, so I know everybody/didn't have to move to a new workplace. So yeah, still on Grenfell st in the city most days, but work from home when I have a lot of work and don't need interruptions!
